This is horrible. Steve McNair was one of my favorites. This is truly a sad event and a big loss for the sports world.
Reports have been conflicting since this story first came out. Most are reporting that the wife killed him, but no one is sure. It reminds me of the Phil Hartman and Chris Benoit incidents. jfcundiffI seriously doubt his wife would kill him.

I hated the way he was able to beat the Jags year after year. No one deserves to die like that. May he rest in peace.

Man, Steve "Air" McNair. Damn this is sad. This just put a damper on my 4th of July. He was the best, if not, one of the best to ever play for my Titans. He got us to Super Bowl XXXIV and to the AFC Championship Game the following 2000 NFL Season. I've heard from his former players, such as Derrick Mason, on ESPN and my local Nashville news, that what you saw on the field, was what you saw off the field. He was truly a respectable man. No doubt the Titans will sport Number 9 on their jersey this year.
BTW, I heard on my local Nashville news that his wife was in his home state of Mississippi, so the woman that was with Steve couldn't have been his wife.
R.I.P - Steve McNair ~ 1973 - 2009

It's sad lets just hope they catch the guy who did this. Wait for an investigation too it might of been Mcnairs fault that he was shot. No one knows who that woman was and who knows if there isn't more to the story.
One male one female dead
McNair is the male, trying to confirm the woman that's dead.
So far they have no idea what's going on.
No way! McNair was the male????
I have just now heard on my local news that Steve was sitting on the couch of the room of the apartment complex when he was shot. And that there was no sign of a forced entry of the apartment.I am thinking that this was a murder-suicide now, committed by the woman that he was with at the time.
this is just terrible if true :(Jaysonguy
It's true, he's dead
We don't know anything else, too early to say it's horrible, tragic, etc as of now
I'm going out on a limb and will say that its horrible that Steve Mcnair and that woman is dead. If it turns out to be awesome I'll retract my statement later:roll:. (seriously, even if he did a Chris Benoit, which I seriously doubt, the situation is horrible)This is getting worse by the second
The girl he was with was Sahel Kazemi, she was 20 years old and worked at Dave and Busters
She was charged with a DUI Thursday with McNair riding in the passenger seat, the Caddy she was driving was not only in her name but McNair's as well.
This is getting creepy and pointing in all kinds of disgusting directions. I just hope that rampant speculation can stop until we know all the facts
Mighta been some other guy's girl. I bet she was a Free Mason and they wanted Steve McNair gone. She was a terrorist that was bored. Captain Crunch did it.This is getting worse by the second

well, cant say im surprised if what im reading is true. This happens time and time again. Man is married, meets a young woman, hoping and thinking no one will find out, man buys gifts for young woman, things go bad after awhile, young woman is confused, goes crazy, attacks man, or crazy jealous ex gets in the way... By the sound of it, she killed him with multiple rounds, while she shot herself in the head.
he probably would of gotten in regardless. But from what I am reading (not stating anything as fact) is that he was tricking her. What is a man that is married with kids buying condos and SUVs for, a 20 yr old :| ? These young ones are emotional, like I said in my previous post, these situations NEVER end well.. He probably was trying to cut her off and she wasnt having it. He will be remember as a great qb, yes, but his family will never be the same. Probably tarnished his legacy.though i guess the positive thing out of this is that he will make the HOF no matter what now

Well, never understimate the power of temptation
Possible suspect? Warning, picture contains language unsuitable for many. DO NOT view SPOILER if easily offended!
http://i39.tinypic.com/m9r1nk.jpg
Notice how he post what he does on the 2nd of July, two days before the death??? Could it be a friend of her ex??Tjeremiah1988
Not at all
The only suspect is the male and female on the scene
The gun was found under her body which does look like a murder/suicide, we wont know for sure until the autopsy reports
