ESPN is really pathetic trying to make it seem like the people of TN are completely ignorant as to people being able to have a dark side to them. Sure, we looked up to him, he was the foundation of the organization and was always involved in the community, so naturally everyone respected him. I don't know where I'm going with this, someone else may be able to fill in the words..but I don't like how ESPN is portraying the circumstances of his death and the reaction of Nashville..it's just incorrect and is not reflective at all.DeadMagazinesESPN puts their spin on anything and everything, that's why I do my best to avoid them, anyway it makes me sick too, all the croc tears and pretense of shock.
At the very least they don't have any sanctimonious buttholes saying that, "he had to pay" like this thread does. Shame on those of you who would actually post something like that. I hope that people are just as merciless toward you when the time comes that you give into temptation.
I dont think anybody is saying he deserved to die. Just that he had to pay the consequences of his actions. Which in his case was death. Some people get sued, beat up,etc... for cheating but his punishment was death. He had no idea he would lose his life over this and nobody else probably did not think so either. You play with fire and you will get burned. What do you think should have happened for him being a cheater and betraying his wife and kids?coltsfan4everI think that he should have been given the oppurtunity to reconcile with his wife and raise his boys, one would hope humbled and more appreciative of his blessings. Execution however, is out of the question.
