No problem. SE made it really hard to get 100% and then survive the final boss so I figured that I would post an overview of the extra scene. There are more scenes and the credits before this one but they are what you would expect the ending to be after playing the game...

is it really like pokemon? I saw famitsu gave it a good score, but then again famitsu usually gives goods score o any very well-known franchise game.

Having not played Pokemon (yet) I cannot answer that.

You do collect monsters and can battle other players in the game who also have monsters. All the monsters are from the DQ series (of course) and they do level and aquire skils but their appearance does not change.

It has been a lot of fun and the story is good. Have 40+ monsters but don't know how many are actually in the game...

Had to go read the manual cuz I could not remember but yes to both.

You can battle wirelessly and trade your monsters so it is probably more like Pokemon then not...

thats the last SE game i bought i dint play it yet but ive already finished DQ monster and both DQ monster 2 and yes hey use the same principle as pokemon....boy i cant wait to play joker....(does it uses the stylus and for which action)... I am currently playing heroes of mana and i just completed Front mission (boy they took a classic and made it even better....!!!) SquareEnix994

So far, the stylus can be used for almost everything. Opening chests and door require the 'A' but most else can be done with the stylus.

Have Heroes of Mana but that is one I have not started yet.

so if you use the stylus and the A button..... you have to be left handed for the stylus??

and for the movement do you move with the stylus or with the arrows?

I've been having a blast with it but I love DQ games anyway. Kind of nice to have the monsters fighting for you! :P

Has anyone played Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria? Because I got it for my birthday and I'm finding the battle system to be very confusing. I've just encountered my first boss (which killled me of course) and I still haven't a clue on what I'm meant to be doing. Maybe I'll just play Suikoden untill I figure out how it works @_@Lady_Bahamut

It does start slow but the story gets interesting later as do the battles as the characters learn more flashy attacks!

All the Suikoden games grabbed me quicker also but I did like both profile and silmeria. They are slower (and MUCH tougher) games but are very good games!

I've actually gone back to Valkyrie Profile (after almost a year of not playing it) and got past the part I was stuck at. I really wanna finish this game to see one of the endings. Or to fight Gabriel Celeste, the Eterial Queen, and Freya....right...I'll be able to beat how ridiculously powerful they are. :lol: (Queen has 2.3 million HP O.o )kryu88

VP is one of the most unforgiving games I've ever played....FFIV (supposidly one of if not the hardest FF) felt like a cakewalk compared to this game at times...nearly dying in almost every random battle in a new dungeon is ridiculous. The boss battles...ugh....there being no damage limit is nice, but those bosses can do ridiculous amounts of damage.

Yeah there should've been, because after i got relm. I was looking through a walkthrough, then i was reading about how i missed him and got relm. I don't even use Relm. So now i have to change my team around, if i miss Mog. I'm not going to be happy.

Before I played VP, I thought DMC3 was the toughest.

I remember the wimpest looking monsters could easily kill my entire party in one round in random battles!

I love to level my characters but everytime I have a random battle in VP my first thought was "how am I going to resurrect the characters in the battle". Not many games make me think of how to survive random battles like VP.

Boss battle are just nuts! Don't setup the character right and they are dead in the first round. Now that is a tough game. If the game was not SO GOOD, I would have surrendered after the first area! :D

I used Locke, Shadow, Mog and a random 4th person for as much of the game as I could. I don't remember any issues getting Mog...

Okay, I've now worked out VP:S battle system XD I didn't know I had to stand still before attacking >_> No wonder I wasn't getting the first attack in XD

Still, now that I've worked it out I was able to kill the first boss without any problems! Hurray!

Anyone interested in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles : Ring of Fates? Looks like an interesting game, will work better (I think) than it did on Gamecube. I have to say that I did buy the Gamecube original, and... well... I thought it was awful. But hopefully this will make up for it.

I've also have those 3 games pre-ordered. 3 months for crystal chronicles and swords. 6 months for FF:CC. I also hope they are worth it but I'm not too worried from what I've seen..

Im not sure if ill be getting Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate. I do have Crisis Core on preorder :D Went the first day you could do it at Gamestop. For my DS though I think ill probably be waiting for an english version FFIV.pikastar
