I agree, the second one was okay, but I didn't care for the third. I don't think they're going to continue those movies, and I am glad. It gets old with all those potty jokes. Andraxal

X is pretty good. It was my first FF game. VII is my second least favorite(FF3 for the DS is my least favorite).

I didn't find it hard, I only had Game Over once against Garuda. About the classes, I was taking a Knight, Ranger, Devout and a Dark Knight but now I have 4 Onion Knights. The job system wasn't as good as FFV's system but I found the game fun.

Oh, Garuda! I HATED that guy, he seemed WAY overpowered. I died on the last boss a few times, only because I didn't know you had to kill all of the four bosses before going to her. I agree, the job system was not fun. Knight Ranger, Devout and a Dark Knight? How the heck did you heal? Andraxal

Haha ! There's one of my friends who didn't know about beating the 4 bosses too, man the last boss kicked his ass :P

Oh, oops was thinking it was a Magus. I was like how in the world did you beat the game with no healer?! You almost HAVE to have some kind of healing job in the last battles. Yeah, well they don't explain that very well before you go to fight her. Andraxal

I honestly prefer X, to me is a great "different" story, and the Religious metaphor of this Sin and the yevonthing is so deep, and you can understand that if you have been in touch whit religion.

But any way, that is my unexperted point of view.

It's sad when someone makes a review opposite to the mainstream, and no one recommends it, and sometimes they get modded for making it(not me though).

My friend made a review for GTA: SA, and they gave it a bad review(they played the game and didn't like it. The review was well written and stated facts).

Everyone came down and didn't recommend it. Some people actually reported it to the Mods(there was no swearing in it too, it was a normal review), and he got modded for it. He explained to the mods what happened and they apologized and took off the modding, but most people didn't like it still, and people were still trying to report him, but the Mods ignoed it.

Most of the time when people write a review to go against the "mainstream" it isn't really a review :lol: Its just some person who is writing it just for the sake of making fanboys angry. They don't normally back up their facts or have any kind of explanation at all. Its typically just, "This game sucks" or "I don't get how people like this game and call it Da best game ever!!" But, I do respect when somebody writes one and actually brings up supporting facts, although I may not always agree with it, I like that they actually make an arguement; and not just say the game is bad just for the sake of saying so.

I've seen a few subpar scores of VII before, some were done recently so they obvioulsy gave the graphics a bad score (its from nearly 10 years ago people!!!) Most, don't really do much besides say, its a bad game and overhyped, without saying much else. But, there are a few in there that actually do make a reasonable argument over the quality of the game.

Usually yes, but I read the review. It had good facts. He didn't say it sucked, but it wasn't good.

Rapid fanboys are scarey indeed....I think people would just randomly implode if they heard FFVII was remade.... on the PS3...Some even have it made up in their minds that it is....Isn't the occult following known as fanboyism quite odd indeed?

Honestly alot of people criticize on forums without alot of background knowledge.......... i guess its cause they feel like thye dont need to back it up somehow....................
i can understand why VII gets so much criticism (expecially due to all the promotion its been getting...which leads to haters) but come on.....it deserves more forum credit than what its been gettin....... (but then again there are alot of underappreciated games that need the credit too)

Yes, I'm all for publicising obscure games that most people will have missed out on. FFVII has legions of fans (some of them quite rabid ;) ), so it doesn't really need our help. I suppose all of the haters are just a sign of it's popularity.
