Yes, I'm all for publicising obscure games that most people will have missed out on. FFVII has legions of fans (some of them quite rabid ;) ), so it doesn't really need our help. I suppose all of the haters are just a sign of it's popularity.

Hmm, obscure games. I don't know what to recommend other than what I've mentioned elsewhere. I'm quite a big fan of Atlus's SMT series (especially Nocturne) and I'd recommend any of those (except Devil Summoner). Growlanser Generations (which contained Growlansers 3 and 4) is a relatively unknown delight. Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3 and Terranigma on the SNES, DQVII, Vagrant Story and Xenogears on the PS. Apart from the recent SMT games, most of these are difficult (or impossible) to find now, though.

You could try eBay or Amazon. That tends to be how I import my games. :)

:lol: The length of FFXII is far greater than Heavenly Sword. I spent over 100 hours on one playthrough on FFXII...most I've ever spent on one playthrough on any game. So, yeah, you are most likely nowhere near done :lol: (if you plan on doing hunts and such)

hahaha, yeah. Although you could probably beat FFXII in ~60 hours. But if you count in all the hunts and espers and junk that you could do before beating the game, then it's easily over that amount of time. When I beat it, I only had about...30 hunts done, I think? And only 8 espers too. There's tons to do! Besides hunts and espers, then there's all those tiny little sidequests that don't give you too much of a reward, but are just fun to do.

Well...have fun!!! FFXII is one of my fav FFs, so I hope you enjoy your time with it too. ;)

I played DQVIII for about 10-15 hours before I got tired of it and traded it in :wink:

Hmmm so how come final fantasy 1-5 aren't on the list. I'd choose Final Fantasy Online I could play with freinds.

Because it's not one of the more popular FFs......which is unfortunate, it deserves more recognition, a great game.

Well, the vote option on GS doesn't allow for that many options I think, so he had to slim it down a bit.

Yep, Ultima was in the Great Crystal (another horrible area). And I hated the Subterra. I couldn't see anything, and I always ended up wandering around aimlessly because my map wouldn't work either. grrr. I really wish I would've been able to get those two last hunts.

I wasn't able to get Zodiark either 'cause those dumb bats in the Henne Mines would always hound my party and kill us! (or almost kill us, I would manage to run away.....barely hanging on).
