anyone watch the new GTAIV trailer? :Dqueen_valentine

I just watched it. It looks realll cool :). heh heh, it's scary how much Liberty City really looks like NY in this game. I hope the music and the radio stations are as good in this as in the other games.

To add on to what Chronaroth bought up, some of my biggest gaming experiences were:

Playstation: Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, Castlevania:SOTN (I swear that game was as addictive as Chinese food), Resident Evil 2, Bloody Roar 2 (another insanely fun game), Rival Schools, Xenogears

Nintendo 64: Goldeneye 007 and Mario 64

Sega Genesis: Beyond Oasis:D and the Sonic the Hedgehog series (mainly Sonic 3 and Knuckles)

Super Nintendo: Conta 3, Final Fight 2, Megaman X series, and Chrono Trigger

Nintendo: Astrynax, Demon Sword, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, Friday the 13th

(Couldnt find a decent pic of the game)

Rival Schools

Beyond Oasis :)

I never actuallyed played TLoZ a Link to the past on the SNES. I only played it on GBA, and ROM.

I finally started Bioshock. It's pretty interesting. I like the plasmids(those are like magic), especially the telekinesis.

The water effects are amazing, and the physics are great.

To add on to what Magus brought up:

Sega Genesis: Sonic, Vectorman, Mega Bomberman, and Columns

Playstation 1: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears, and Legend of Dragoon

I would try to add a pic of each....but GS is being glitchy with the pics

To continue on the theme that Magus started, some of my greatest gaming experiences are:

Commodore 64: Retrograde, Armalyte, C.R.E.A.T.U.R.E.S. (Clyde Radcliff Exterminates All The Unfriendly, Repulsive, Earth-ridden Slime ;) ).

Sega Megadrive (aka Genesis): Thunderforce IV, Dragon's Fury, Gunstar Heroes, Revenge of Shinobi.

SNES: The Legend of Zelda: LttP, Super Castlevania IV, Secret of Mana, Terranigma, Super Mario World (and so many others, too).

Playstation: Vagrant Story, Castlevania: SotN, Final Fantasy VII.

N64: Super Mario 64, Goldeneye007, Lylat Wars, Blast Corps.

Arcade: Vulcan Venture (aka Gradius II), Salamander, X-Multiply, Raiga: Strato Fighter, Thunderforce AC.

Bioshock was a great game! I plan on re-playing it again when I get a chance.

Plasmids have some of the coolest effects. Not only graphically but it adds a lot of strategy to some of the boss fights and when there are many enemies to deal with.

Destroying Big Daddies is hard but leaves you with a great feeling when you succeed! :)

I like the lightning plasmids. It is fun to use these in the water filled areas.

I told myself not to attack the Big Daddies or the Little Sisters. Will I still get the good ending?

You will want to attack the Big Daddies and rescue all the little sisters to get the good ending. Don't harvest even one or you will get the bad ending.

I had all the plasmids and upgrades by the end of the game but it is tougher early on with less adam to buy plasmids.

I downloaded Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War plus the expansion Winter Assault off of Steam today. Been quite a while since I played a RTS....I think the last one I played to death was Rise of Nations...and before that Age of Empires. So, needless to say I was a bit rusty, but it's a pretty fun game with interesting units and locations. Though, nothing beats the Warcraft peasants and their "Yes, me lord" comment at anything you ask them to do...their accent just kills me, the workers in this game are robots, so no funny voices from them :P

Dawn of War soaked up so much of my time it's not even funny.. Space Marines ftw imho. I used to played Warcraft 3 constantly and Dawn of War just took it's place when it came out. Don't really play any RTS atm. Can't seem to find one I like. Going way back I used to play Starcraft non-stop. Was a huge fan of the Zerg and the play-style they created. Back to Dawn of War it added this whole new concept of having many areas spread across the map that you have to capture to gain resources instead of just a mine or two. It really keeps you mobile if you want to win. Plus it got rid of the whole towering strats because the turrets are extremely weak even upgraded. Every race has to use some kind of rush strat because you can't turtle at all and hope to win. Great game overall.

Awww, oh no!! That sounds terrible! I've never heard of a Wii doing that before...I agree with Kuja - check the forums and look up Google as well as the Wii forum here on GS.

Wow, i've never heard of that kind of problem before. You should call up Nintendo, they'll probably replace it for you.

Yeah. It's very similar to Zelda or Alundra, just more linear. It was still fun for it's time though.

This may be the first instance of a warranty actually being of any use (outside of the X360, of course ;) ). Normally these electronic goods are designed to self-destruct the moment the warranty expires. :?;)

I've beaten SO1, 2 and 3 several times each. I tried Jade Cacoon and didn't get very far. Not my thing. If you like SO3 you should try SO2. Imo SO3 was good but SO2 is just plain perfection.

It doesnt matter where you buy it from-Sony gives you one year. Stores might have there own, but you have to pay extra for the store extended warranty (obviously)

I got FEAR (platinum edition) for xmas! ^_^ I know it's an old game but....I still wanted it! XD I think I might install it very shortly and play it. I am a wuss when it comes to scary-ish games though but I love it at the same time!

Also...I played some Phantom Hourglass too. Got to the Ice Temple. Didn't go in yet, just arrived on it. I can't believe it's taking me this long to finish it. I am so bad at finishing games. :P

I'm bad about finishing games too. :P examples: FFIV at last battle...yet to finish :P , FFVIII basically to last stage of the game...yet to finish, Folklore...far too much to do.... It doesn't help I keep getting new games that draw my attention away....right now Luminous Arc is doing that job very well.

Yeah, that normally happens with me. I'll get a new game, and boom i'm on it. I'll leave the old games behind without finishing them. FFIII, i'm near the end. Just i moved on to better games, like FFT. I'll probably never end up finishing it, because i dislike that game. FFTA, i think i'm near the end of it. I'll never pick it up and beat it again, because i'm lazy and i have better games to play. FFX,FFX-2, and FFXII. Haven't beat any of them. FFX-Disliked,FFX-2-Disliked, FFXII- So much to do in there, it has taken me a year to get to where i am at..

You have to finish PH, it's great!

Luckily for me I don't have that problem because I don't buy games that often... I guess that's a good thing... :P

I wish I could do that! Instead I end up with 4 or 5 games being "actively" played. Usually at least one or 2 fall off my list. Right now that is LoZ: Wind Waker because I'm tired of all the temples I need to visit and sailing every where!

I want to finish it to see the ending before I start PH but it is getting boring! :(

I'm at the wind temple escorting the next person to the center. Has anyone finished this? Does it get better after this temple?

Blue Dragon and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is now sucking up a big chunk of my time on the big consoles. (FF12:RW the rest ;) )

In a word, "no".

I'm a big fan of the Zelda series, but Windwaker was a bit of a let down, I'm afraid. The "dungeoneering" is as good as ever, but the game was padded out with obscene amounts of very tedious sailing to make up for the lack of length.
