yeah, gamings important, you must make time :lol:darkcloud6
Yeah. Thought so. :D But now that i'm already a lawyer, I think I'll have far lesser time for games. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I've been a gamer since 5. I don't want to stop being one just because I became a lawyer. :(

^ Yeah. :)
Anyone who loves Suikoden sereis here? I think it is my second favorite RPG series. :)
Fantasy_Gamer
5 is one of my FAVE games:D
Is anyone else playing Mass Effect? I'm not really an FPS type of person, but this is so much more like a sci-fi RPG than a typical shooter - it is freakin' amazing!
BTW, Fantasy_Gamer, all is not lost - it is possible to balance a career and gaming; it just takes some practice :) I am a graphic designer, and between all my work, overtime and freelance jobs, I probably work anywhere from 50-70 hrs a week, but I always sneak in time for games :) mind you, it takes me WAY longer to finish them - I am SO behind everyone else here - and I usually have to trade sleep for gaming! LOL :D
Mass Evvect is not like an FPS. TPS yes, but not FPS. It is an RPG at heart though. An extremely good one at thatfs_metal
details, details :)
lol, you see what i mean though :) although it's not a typical RPG, and there are elements of a shooter style game, it is a really involved and compelling experience; quite refreshing :)
BTW, Gilgamesh, I have been here but admittedly not on this thread for awhile; you don't want to know how many pages i had to read to catch up! lol :D
Every RPG should be more like Mass Effect...or Oblivionfs_metal
i haven't played Oblivion yet; what is the fighting style like? I hear this game is quite addictive.
I think I'm gonna break the bank this weekend and get Lost Odyssey :)

It can be played fro mteh first or third person. It can be played straight up hack n slach or with distance weapons...or spells. OBlivion is a brilliant game in many many levelsWell I got Legend of Dragoon.:) The battle system has a nice twist to it.Wanderer5
It is purely about the gameplay. There is a MASSIVE completely open ended world that you are free to explore from about 30 minutes into the game at your will. Tons of qwuests and so much to du. Very in depth character creation and developement. Seriously you can spend 30 mintues just customizing the look of your characterfs_metal
Sweet, sounds like exactly my sort of game :)
Is anyone excited for Tales of Vasperia? If I had a 360 it would be day one purchase for me. It look awesome. There also Tales of Symphonia 2(Wii) coming out too.:) Wanderer5
I would love to play those, but unfortunately I don't have either console:( I am really intrigued by the World Ends With you as well, but no DS either.
Right now I am going through Dante Must Die difficulty in DMC4 (and hating it:evil:) getting a perfect file on Crisis Core and playing Okage, a early PS2 RPG, which is pretty quirky and funny.
My two most awaited titles are MGS4 and NG2 by far though, so hopefully I'll have a 360 by NG's release.
Other games I am excited about are Little Big Planet, Silent Hill 5, Alone in the Dark, Alan Wake, Hard Rain (if it actually comes in 08) and of course FFXIII and Versus, though I doubt we'll see either of those this year.
Wow! I hadn't heard of the Tales of Vesparia game, but now I am tracking it - thanks for the tip! It looks really beautiful; I LOVE that style of RPG...so pretty! :)SymonDezyn
i'm considering getting a 360 for that game.

do it, you won't regret it - there's LOTS of really great games out for it now, and more and more RPGs are being made for it too :)
