Nel talks with Killer Chef and requests a special dessert prepared. While still in the batter stage, Nel sprinkles some special herbs in.:twisted: Killer Chef finishes the three layered blood red cake.
When it's finished Nel takes it to Team Zantetsuken. They accept the delicious looking treat. After lunch, they gobble the cake up. About a half an hour later, they are holding their stomaches. They'll be all right, the herb just gives stomach cramps for about 6 hours.:twisted:

Ooooooh it dark again, everyone knows what that's means.:lol: Nel is up and at them!:twisted:
The temperature has taken a nose dive. The thermometer says 23 degrees. Yes, it feels invigorating. The moon shines brightly, and a heavy frost lays across the ground turning everything white and sparkly. Nel moves carefully over the slippery ground and heads out for her nightly attack.
Entering the sleeping camp, Nel puts out all the heaters.
By morning three team members have turned......

Nel woke up this morning, (on the 24th) to see that it had snowed during the wee hours of the morning. It has been snowing all day. Now near midnight, the snow has finally stopped. The sky is crystal clear. The area around her camp looks enchanted with the reflection of light from the moon and stars. There's a thick blanket of heavy snow. Nel sighs at the beauty of it all.:)
Going back into her tent to get warm, Nel sits and thinks about what she can do next. She chuckles as images of the food fight the other day flicker through her mind. That was loads of fun. Nel suddenly sits up straight in her chair, she remembers something that she and her geneology friends do every year...........so a plan forms, but there is much work to be done to pull this one off.
Getting her coat, she heads out for the arena. With it being so cold, everyone will either be asleep or staying in their camps to keep warm.:) Nel works through the night. When she is done, she goes back to her tent to catch a few hours of sleep.
Early the next morning (on the 25th), Nel asks Rikku to do her a favor. Rikku agrees and runs off to see to it. In the light of day, all the hard work she did last night looks great. Nel gets into position. Rikku starts to give announcement over the loud speakers, "Wakie, Wakie everyone! All team members to the arena!" Rikku hasn't turned the mic off when she asks, "Yunie, what to you think?" Yuna, tells Rikku the mic is still on. Rikku shouts, "Oh poopie! How do you turn this thing off." Yuna chuckles and says, "Sorry everyone." and the mic goes silent.
The three teams arrive at the arena. All are looking around at what Nel did last night. Odin shouts, "What's this?" Nel pops up from behind one of the snow barriers she built last night and lets a snowball fly across the arena. It hits Odin in the chest. Everyone gasps, then silence falls as they all watch Odin for his reaction. Nel lets two more snowballs go hitting Magus and Crono. Odin looks at his team mates then across the arena at Nel.
Nel sees the corner of his mouth twitches, then he throw back his head and laughs. He picks up a snowball and throw it back at Nel, hitting her on the top of the head because she didn't duck quick enough.
Nel yells: Snowball Fight!
Nel has built each team a snow block barrier wall and stock piled a pile of snowballs so if any team wants to continue the snowball fight they can.:lol: Mercernaries will have to make their own snowballs!:P

After commiting weeks of research to study Team Zantetsuken's history as well as work on a special side project, Reno comes back to the battlefield.
Reno - "Heh heh, I've been dying to use this...*equips Enemy Skill materia*. Hey Crono, watch this: Luminaire!"

A Tribute to Team Zantetsuken
Nel sitting in her tent still sad by the swift defeat of a great team, she is pulled from her thoughts by a knock on the wooden board outside her tent. Getting up, Nel sees who it is. A Valkyrie asks if she is Nel Zelpher. Saying that it is her, the Valkyrie hands Nel a message. The Valkyrie bows and leaves.
Nel enters her tents and reads the message. It's from......
Odin returns to his hall in Valhalla, his home.
As they approach Valgrind, the main gate, Crono and Magus are
greeted by Bragi and escorted by Valkyrie Lenneth into Odin's Hall.
Odin walks over to his throne found in the Atrium at the end of his hall. Odin slowly turns and sits. As he ponders the events that have taken place within the arena he wonders about the role he played throughout each battle.
"I have fought to impart the virtues of valor & honor that can be found in the hearts and minds of those who fight and truly understand the essence of the Warrior. Those in which such traits are expressly manifest. I have demonstrated skill and power in order to inspire reverence. Have I earned my respite?"
A scowl reaches Odin's visage and he violently grasps his blade, the mighty Zantetsuken.
He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He considers the Teams remaining and slowly loosens his grip on the blade eventually releasing the hilt all together.
"Though mine work may be complete, I may never rest. I must lie in wait until such time as I am needed."

Nel's heart swells with pride for such might warriors (Magus the leader, Odin and yes Crono even though he disappeared) who have entered Valhalla as true heroes. They will return as mercenaries now. Hopefully to have fun in the snowball fight, Nel has started.:lol: Well, written Odin, well written.:) applause. as Nel shares with everyone in the arena.
Nel exits her tents and starts shouting orders to have the camp taken down. Peppita comes running, "We aren't leaving are we?" Nel smiles and say, "No, we are moving our camp." Peppita giggles, "Where are we going?" Nel looks out across the arena, and answers, "To Forgotten City. Our support now goes to Team Jenova's Witnesses!" Peppita claps happily, "Oh I just love that Kadaj. Do you think Sephy will change him into a puppy again?" Her eyes bright with hope. Nel throws back her head and laughs:lol: "Who knows, who knows!"............
