yeah, so IMO hellghaust pwn locust. what do you guys think?

Helgast. I'd say Locust if they didn't look almost the same as the humans.... plus that Killzone CGI opening gives the Helgast some great atmosphere.

how are you going to say that locust look more like humans when helghast are descendants of humans.i would be more terrified to fight a locust than a helghast. those big sharp teeth are frightening. also helghast seem to bleed molasses which is tasty...not frightening.

the helghast are much more interesting and they have way more personality for antagonists. they are not a ripoff of anything, they were inspired by those animes.

the locust all play like the Brutes from Halo 2. In the words of one of the Bungie designers, they are just "damage sponges". Not very interesting at all.

are you kidding...the brutes in Halo 2 had terrible AI. the locust definitely are more intelligent than those giant monkeys. the brutes in Halo 3 seem to have much better AI though.

also did everyone forget about the berserker...those things were very strong and could not be beaten without a hammer of dawn. therefore, i would be most afraid of a beserker since i would not be able to kill it. also lambent wretches were rather scary.

locust look like retarted, uglyaliens with shiny suits...

helghast are cooler because they look more indimidating with those glow in the dark helmets..they also look more slicker

but i guess helghast aren't orignal but so aren't locust...all they did was take ET and made him more uglier looking and they put a suit on him and gave him a gun

I'm going with locust. Neither enemy looks especially cool or interesting, but the locust are a slightly less, um, unoriginal, and I kinda like their concept better (at least what we know. They could end up being a disappointment in the future).

actually no, they wont all be the same, remember in the trailer? that gigantic one that you could only kill by shooting teh red thing in its back? oh and yeah, ive been looking everywhere for hellghast pics and I just cant find any decent ones. plus the kz1 hellghast look bad next to the next gen gears of war locust, that just makes it more unfair. I would really appreciate it if you would post a good hellghast pic up here.(if you happened to stumble upon one.

just becuase something is orignall or not does not mean its good.

i like the art and boackground the dev team for killzone did for the helghast. they did a better job than unreal.

The red eyes are more memorable than the fugly faces.

right now i'd say both are equally cool. But if the next killzone has a helghast campaign or even just a few side story missions like those in halo 2 then I would definitely say helghast. YOU HEAR THAT GUERILLA!!!?

locust are pretty lame as far as their visual design goes.
