$100 is not a lot of money

How is the Xbox One too expensive?  If you can afford a $400 console, why not a $500?

I mean, I have money for all the next-gen consoles and the Wii U, so it's not an issue.  But if you live in a developed country with food, housing, electricity, and internet, how is $100 a big deal?  I mean, you could make $20,000-40,000+ by just working, whats $100 really?

I'm just not getting how the whole price is a big deal.

$100 is quite a difference when comparing two products. The PS4 and Xbox One are so close in number of features that price becomes a very important aspect when figuring out which one to get. If the two play most of the same games and do most of the same things, why wouldn't you get the cheaper one?

it will depend on the kinect.  the kinect could be a big revolution, or a gimmick like the wii.  we will have to see.

if it was 100$ for more that would be ok

but you get worse hardware for higher price, plus looking at this gen is obvious ps4 will have the better games.

Life doesn't work that way dummy. If you can get a better product for $100 less, then the more expensive product completely loses its value. Except to morons of course.

$100 is alot of money if the more expensive product offers nothing substantial over the lower priced product.

It is known why the Xbone is $100 more than the PS4. It is Kinect, which I and many others do not want.

I am not paying $100 more only because it includes that which I do not want.

In the long run, it definitely isn't. I understand people having other priorities, naturally, but for a console that'll last 5 or so years... It's not bad.

100 isnt a lot? Either youre just a kid who lives at home and doesnt understand that 100 dollars is a lot to people who have to work and pay their bills and understand the importance of money, or you are filthy rich in which you dont think its a lot.

100 dollars means you could buy the system and a game and have 40 bucks left over. Or for an extra 10 dollars you could get a system, a game and a year of PS+ with like 300 dollars worth of games included. Not to mention the xb1 has weaker hardware, so youre buying a weaker system for 100 dollars more, sure it comes with kinect but you buy a ps4 with the camera setup seperate for 40 dollars less than the xb1.

Ill get a xbox one eventually once it comes down in price and has some games I want on it. But as far as this holiday season is concerned its PS4 for me.
