1 It has an outstanding list of quality titles like God of War CoO, Little Big Planet, Medal of Honor Heroes 1 and 2, GTA ChinaTown Wars AAA, Lumines AAAE, Metal Gear Solid AAAE, Twisted Metal Head ON, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy, Lunar Silver Star Harmony, Tekken 6, Jak and Daxter and so on
2 Most the multiplats are better on PSP GTA Chinatown Wars the reviewers said on this site is better than the DS version
3 it doesn't have shovelware while the DS has 90% shovelware, Imagine Babiez, Bratz, My Little Baby, My Pet Pony, Hannah Montanna and millions of other I don't know which is worst DS or Wii when it comes to shovelware ?
4 I bought 16 gigs and am able to place movies and watch them perfectly whenever I go out or have to take an amtrak train Iplug my PSP and relax watching scarface or rambo or halloween if i'm in the mood to watch a movie me and my friend went and were both in that 13 hour amtrak train ride just relaxing watching movies.
5 it's an adult oriented system with hardcore games while DS is kiddie with few hardcore games like GTA CTW which don't manage to sell.
6 You can't watch movies on ds or play mp3s, or play any kind of media maybe one day i'm not in the mood to play videogames.
7 PSP has an AAAE class list coming this year 2010 the new God of War, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Kingdom Hearts etc etc things are just looking up.
8 The DS looks like it's 2010 is looking grim what real name brand games are coming out this year, that's not shovelware ?
9 it has an analog and 6 buttons and x,o triangle and square can feel just as good as a second analog when playing a shooter and having an analog is an advantage all ds has is a pen to draw circles and doodle or to put pampers on a babyz and clean up horse poo.
10 GRAPHICS and I repeat Graphics the PSP graphics are the best graphics of any handheld so far they look like early PS2 titles, who would've thought that would be possible in 2000 or 2001 ? it's amazing to experience this, the ds has not done anything to advance graphics past GBA and the shooters look ugly as sin on DS the graphics can break or make some games and the DS breaks shooters with hideous graphics..
11 Last but not least and my personal favorite reason that PSP is better than DS
ta ta ta taaaa

Since the other guy didn't have the patience to do it, I will. So, here we go.
1. DS has an outstanding list of titles like Pokemon SSHG/D/P/Pl, GTA CTW, Mario Kart DS, Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Nintendogs, Mario: Bowser's Inside Story, SMT: Devil Survivor, The World Ends With You, Final Fantasy 4, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, NSMB, Pheonix Wright, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2.
2. The only real "improvements" were a minor improved control scheme. Both games still scored a 9.5. Metacritic has the DS version ranked as a 93, and the PSP version ranked at a 90. Obviously, it's a matter of preference and opinion.
3. DS has a larger library of games, which makes it only natural that it would have more shovelware. EVERY system has shovelware. But if you want to talk pure numbers, let's talk about the PSP's grand total of 8 AAA titles, vs the DS's 15 AAA titles.
4. You're absolutely right, the DS can't play movies. Good thing most people buy it to play games.
5. Chinatown Wars sold over 1 million units on the DS, compared to the PSP's 470,000. You're obviously pulling "facts" out of your ass. Your idea that the PSP is for "adults" while the DS is for "kids" is a mislead and uneducated opinion.
6. This media complaint runs the same vein as point number 4, and could have been condensed, if you weren't intentionally trying to inflate your list.
7. Your "AAAE list" is pure speculation. I'm sure you're looking forward to those games, but nobody yet knows what score they will get. And even if they all score AAA, the DS will still have more AAA titles.
8. Again, this could have easily been squeezed into point number 7.
9. PSP's one analog stick is crap for shooters, and pointless for everything else. The DS has the same buttons, sans the analog nub. If you prefer their control scheme, that's your prerogative, but your opinion isn't law, and others are allowed to have their own preferences as well.
10. You're absolutely right, the PSP has better technical graphical power. However, the majority of serious gamers are not so wrapped up in graphics that they choose to shun an entire console just for being graphically inferior, especially when that console has such a huge lineup of quality titles, and 2/3 the handhold gaming market.
11. I can also play GBA games on my DS Lite. As a matter of fact, just the other day, I bought both Golden Sun GBA games.
