Althoug i myself dont factor in reviews when making purchases, I find that the ones the give are the most balanced and somewhat the most unbiased and fair.

I'd like to know how such a poor magazine manages to get all the exclusive reviews before everybody else. :?Ninja-Vox
And yet GS is normally last, and the best. Play is very unreliable, it really doesn't matter what they think. HS hasn't even gone gold yet, so what's it matter?
Cows will be like "see, one positive review and you discredit the source." And they'd have a point, except that Play is truly tragic. They gave Lair a 9 and after poor reviews started coming in, felt the need to release a statement stating that what they reviewed was a buggy build, and that they ignored the bugs and random shoddiness in the game based on promises from the developers (of all people) that everything would be fixed by the time it went gold. So no, like someone else said, Play's not a good source for reviews.

I haven't trusted a Play review since they gave Sonic the Hedgehog an 8.5 back in 2006. Plus, why the hype for Heavenly Sword, to me it looks like a God of War rip-off for lack of originality it should only get AA at most if its well done.

and you still wonder why Play isn't a trusty source?...:lol:
Play used to be a decent source, they gave erly PS2 crappy marks when the game deserved it... but as the team changed through reviewers leaving the quality just went downhill.
