No, there was still things missing on it like dual HDMI and a HDMI cable. No headset and terrible exclusive launch titles. Remember Untold Legend, Gundam and Genji? The PS3 launch was pretty bad. Then promised 2 million PS3 for a worldwide launch and only delivered 800,000 for the U.S. and Japan market. the European launch got delayed. Remember? :roll:

i noticed that too.... sad really i have nothing to hide, i have both systems and im telling you the enjoyable experience is the ps3, the 360 is alright, but they did so much locks on it they way more money hungry than Sony......

Hard Drive (that 20gb is horrendous and i have to constantly delete crap off of it, im not paying $180 for a larger hard drive, thats robbery)

Controller play and charge kit ( why is this not in the box?)

systems are uneven (you got one system with hdmi and one w/o it... 2 with hdd's 1 w/o it and dont say you dont care or want it regardless it should be an "option" for all 360 owners)

cant hook up flash or hard drives to it and use it as storage (useless feature that should of been there anyway)

No Wi Fi (i dont care if i dont use it.. it should be there also)

loud dvd drives (in some models)

PS3 positives

Blu ray (you make think its not a big deal, but since its part of the system thats only $50 more than the premium 360 ok cool beans ill use it)

removable hdd's(i can put any sata notebook drive in it, the one I buy from ebay... new egg etc.... thats a plus)

bluetooth (i can just go buy my own bt headset, keyboards, mouses, whatever)

rechargeable controllers out the box

ps3 negatives

hard drive installs (sucks miserably)

uneven games from 360 (ports are sloppy)

poor online community

other than that most of this stuff is fixable by both companies..... but overall the ps3 is a better experience, it can do just about all of the components in your home theatre and even surf the web

Well people are buying the PS3 as a Blu-Ray playing instead of a game console, that can happen. Yes Cows are still waiting for more quality games to come out. The 360 outsold the PS3 a couple times this year in the U.S. Worldwide the XBox 360 is killing the PS3 in software sales. That's more important to developers then anything else. The Wii has outsold the PS3 every month since it launched. :lol: That's pretty sad when you launch at the same time and the Wii outsells you 2:1 for almost a full year. :lol: That's worse then the PS3 outselling the XBox 360 for a few months.

First off, the PS3 has outsold the 360 worldwide EVERY month. Second, it's more embarrasing that the Wii caught up and passed the 360. :|

Lastly, the PS3 has had more quality exclusives come out in recent months than the 360. So PS3'ers really aren't complaining when it comes to games. One game doesnt change a console, the reason why the PS2 did so well is it had DMC,GTA,MGS,FF and other series exclusives (or better multiplats).Games came out like clock work for the PS2, there was no 5-12 month delays like the PS3 is facing.

Up until MGS4, there really hasn't been anything on the PS3 to talk about. HAZE?!? LAIR?!? Well Uncharted was good, I'm still playing that. All of XBox 360's exclusives are coming out at the end of the summer. The XBox 360 got a slew of exclusves at the end of 2007, when the PS3 didn't have any because they got delayed until 2008. That's why the PS3 has exclusives for the first half of 2008 and XBox 360 doesn't. Because of all the delays. We did get Ninja Gaiden 2, but the good stuff like Tales of Vesperia, Infinite Undiscovery, Halo Wars, Too Human, Banjo 3, Fable 2, etc... will be out the 2nd half of the year. Make sense? :P

Precisely. It's not as if there aren't good games on the 360, any cow that says so is fust as big a fanboy as these other losers. I might even get another one around the holidays just to have both systems. But when it comes to overall hardware and gaming goodness, I have found the PS3 to come ahead by a large margin. Couldn't be happier with the variety of great games, and I'm excited looking at what's to come for the rest of this year.

Seems like some lems have just lost their minds lately, in a fit of jealous rage or something. During the first year of the PS3, I think we had the better system with the 360... but after Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, and Uncharted dropped back to back last year... the PS3 really became a powerhouse of a system. Blu ray, built in wifi, and free online are just extra perks that make the deal that much sweeter!

First learn to spell. But for some it was Warhawk. For some it was R&C:FTOD. For most it was Uncharted. And it if cows can't say Uncharted, then lems can't say Gears... which means it took the 360 even longer than a year.

Well people are buying the PS3 as a Blu-Ray playing instead of a game console, that can happen. Yes Cows are still waiting for more quality games to come out. The 360 outsold the PS3 a couple times this year in the U.S. Worldwide the XBox 360 is killing the PS3 in software sales. That's more important to developers then anything else. The Wii has outsold the PS3 every month since it launched. :lol: That's pretty sad when you launch at the same time and the Wii outsells you 2:1 for almost a full year. :lol: That's worse then the PS3 outselling the XBox 360 for a few months.

First off, the PS3 has outsold the 360 worldwide EVERY month. Second, it's more embarrasing that the Wii caught up and passed the 360. :|

Lastly, the PS3 has had more quality exclusives come out in recent months than the 360. So PS3'ers really aren't complaining when it comes to games. If anything, I see more lems in this board talking about PS3 games then cows talking about 360 games... really hasn't been much to talk about on the 360 lately now has there.

Up until MGS4, there really hasn't been anything on the PS3 to talk about. HAZE?!? LAIR?!? Well Uncharted was good, I'm still playing that. All of XBox 360's exclusives are coming out at the end of the summer. The XBox 360 got a slew of exclusves at the end of 2007, when the PS3 didn't have any because they got delayed until 2008. That's why the PS3 has exclusives for the first half of 2008 and XBox 360 doesn't. Because of all the delays. We did get Ninja Gaiden 2, but the good stuff like Tales of Vesperia, Infinite Undiscovery, Halo Wars, Too Human, Banjo 3, Fable 2, etc... will be out the 2nd half of the year. Make sense? :P

You are very sadly mistaken. The 360 had Halo 3 and Mass Effect towards the end of 2007. The PS3 had Warhwak, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, & UT3... Which is probably why the PS3 ended up outselling the 360 in 2007, it really did end up having more exclusives to choose from.

Even of the exclusives you named for 2008, the only ones that seem like they will be worth playing are Infinite Undiscovery, & Fable 2. And IU will likely get pushed. You didn't name the best one the 360 has coming, Gears 2. Not feeling Banjo 3 but it may still be a good game too. But the fact that you put a Tales of game, Halo Wars, and Too Human in your list is actually more damaging than anything. The PS3 has had MGS4 and GT5: P already, and still has Wipeout HD, SOCOM: Confrontation, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, Valkyrie Chronicles, Disgaea 3, and Little Big Planet. So a lot of ppl argue that the PS3 library for 2008 is far more attractive... and I would tend to agree.

But to act as if there hasn't been anything to talk about on the PS3 all this time is pretty ridiculous.

Could we end this tread saying that both consoles are pretty close (even sales say so)?

Which one is better is just a matter of personal taste. Halo or Resitance? Gears or Metal Gear?

ouch blackbond dont hurt the young-en too hard... he doesnt know any better... give him a small dosage of pwnage in quantities because i dont think his little lemming mind can withstand a full dosage of pwnage. but ya in all honesty, i have been laughing at all the stuff he tries to claim as fact even though they are all just his opinion... so far it is turning out to be a good 08 for ps3 owners sales wise and game wise.

PS3 has ONE AAAE game after 18months while the XBox 360 has about 6 AAAE games.

Okay, chill buddy, its more like 2. More than half of those are already on the PC or coming on the PC.
