Mass Effect 2. It's so good I'm currently suffering through ME1 (I will never complain about planet scanning again) just to set up my canon renegade Shep.

Amen. I mean planet scanning was wack, but do you people honestly remember how lame the side planets were? Sooo bad. Still wish ME2 had more cities. For a 'rich' universe it needed more places that showed it had some life to it. jg4xchamp

As someone who enjoyed ME1's combat and was generally ambivalent about the Mako (sure it drove like ass, but it wasn't overtly offensive) prior to playing ME2, it's shocking how poorly ME1 holds up in comparison. At least I know I don't have to bother with ****ing Pinnacle Station again.

Super mario galaxy 2 just may be the game of the year since the first one was.

Fable 3 by far, there is nothing like it

I think Epic Mickey has a good chance. Of games already released I'd say it is between Starcraft 2 and SMG2 so far.

Personally, none of those. But as for what GS picks, out of those and based on their past trends, SMG. They almost always pick an exclusive, and AAAAE's always win it.

Its going to be either CiV or SC2, personally it would be either Just Cause 2, or BloodBowl: Legendary edition (i'm still wiating for your review GS:x)

My favorite games this year would be Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Heavy Rain, STALKER: COP, Starcraft 2 and Mafia 2, with SC2 being the best of the lot.

Im sticking with Mass Effect 2, even with all these flavor of the week releases. Game was too good.

Um, to who? As far as I know the game recieved alot of critical acclaim and sold a crap ton. Am I missing something? I mean I loved it. Not as amazing as GOW 2 but great none the less.

Fallout: New Vegas, I didn't enjoy it as much as FO3, but I still am really enjoying it.

mass effect 2, but like others here I think RDR will win. Thats a great game also so I dont mind too much.
