[QUOTE="darthogre"][QUOTE="james28893"]Well, at least it wasn't the RROD.CubanBlunt

My post was erased....my comment to James's statement was it's better to get a RROD than a disc drive failure (as seems to be the case here) because the 3 year warranty only covers the RROD. If this X360 was owned by a consumer he would have to pay to get it fixed........kind of ironic how consumers have to hope to get a RROD so they don't have to pay lol.

i don't care right now, because we get gears 2 this fall!shoeman12

I know most X360 owners are giddy at the thought of this releasing in Nov but ask yourself this.......If Epic said back in Sept/Oct they were not working on Gears of war 2 until they are finished with UT3 (I read the quote somewhere....I was actually surprised) then that means the development time is going to be approx 1 year.

I say this is going to be delayed or it will be a carbon copy of the 1st game (6 hr single player game again)

Someone just needs to clean the disk. it's not a red rings thing. Jeez, I had to clean the disk in my car cd player the other day to get it to play. You're reaching here, pal.:)ozmandayus

no, usually discs are not even dirty when it does that. it is possible the disc has scratches or finger prints, but i know from experience that the Xbox and the 360 freeze or give some stupid error when the disc was perfect before you put it in.
