so a year ago the cows shell out 650$ after tax to obtain a PS3. 360 fans have been PLAYING for 2 years now and have great AAA exclusive games, and in 3 days Mass Effect will come out, yet another nail to the tomb Sony laid its self in. So far this year Xbox 360 has Halo 3, Bioshock, and Mass Effect, all killer games that the PS3 cannot play. But the PS3 has FUTURE games...Wow i'd rather the security of knowing my system MIGHT be good in the FUTURE than IS good in the PRESENT. TCHBOmakaveli73
sounds like personal problems
[QUOTE="TreetarD93"]
yes actually, they are.
xbox and windows both come from microsoft. a good chunk of pc games come from microsoft. both systems make a good amount of money for microsoft. if you cant see that the 360 and pc are partner systems and that microsoft puts games on both systems because they make buttloads of money off of both systems, you are terribly blind from those fanboy googles your wearing. does WINDOWS LIVE and XBOX LIVE ring a bell to you? does the ability to play some of the games against xbox players from a pc get through your blaring red fanboy vision? no cow, i dont think it does.CaseyWegner
look at the name of this forum. is it system wars or company wars?

You didn't exactly drive the nail into the cow's heart with that statement. Really though, you are pretty right... still - they do have some powerful games coming out next year (MGS4, FFXIII). Whether they help or not... I guess we'll see.
360? What exclusives? All your games go to the PCNext topic plsStumpt25
... dude. They go to the PC sometimes up to three years after the game comes out for the Xbox. I'm pretty sure we can consider those as exclusives - they mostly get sold on consoles, the PC versions are made by the same company (so they make the same, if not more money to improve their system lineup), and they sort of advertise for the system by saying, "Hey! Look at what you could get if you by the 360!" So... yeah.

[QUOTE="Snake_Plisken88"][QUOTE="leviathan91"]While you have fun waiting for Mass Effect, I'll play Uncharted and R&CF, K? ;)Warp_2567
Oh thats right Mass Effect is the only game we have on 360
and Uncharted is surely the only game on PS3, right?no, but it's the only one that's worth taking note of right now because it's the only ps3 exclusive game that has been hyped but not yet flopped.

Haha R&C? I guess lemmings could play Scene It? while they wait for Mass Effect. See what i did thur?
how so? if you only have a wii or a ps3, your never going to get to play halo 3, gears of war, mass effect, forza 2, etc.TreetarD93
if it can be played on more than one system, the game isn't exclusive. the pc and the 360 are two different systems.

i know it technically isnt exclusive, but it is exclusive in the rights that cows will never be able to play them without a 360/pc. and just because a game is on another of microsofts systems doesnt make it any less fun for the 360 player. in the case of a 360/pc multiplat, cows cant really call ownage because they will never play that game and are just trying to make up an excuse on why a good 360 game is bad. but in the case of a 360/PS3 multiplat, 360 players can call ownage because they will be able to play the same game on a system that cost less, and theyve got their (microsoft) exclusives to play, too.[QUOTE="CaseyWegner"][QUOTE="TreetarD93"]

I think 360 fans need to learn that the PC and 360 are different systems, but PS3 fans also need to relize that the PC and PS3 are different systems as well. Especially when PS3 fans make the statement that all 360 games are on PC Which doesnt really support the PS3 in any way.

I made that VERY VERY clear unless you can not read. i said ALL THREE GAMES ARE NOT ON THE PS3
And do you think that people that haven't bought a 360 really care for those titles? Is not like cows don't have their own good exclusive titles.
Your intelligent is amazing. You first can't properly read my post, than you tell me people without xbox 360 don't care about Halo 3, mass effect, bioshock, ace combat, and other really good games. My friend has a PS3 and is constantly talking about how it was a mistake getting it. So keep your faith in Sony and keep WAITING. They love people like you.
So your imaginary friend's opinion = All PS3's users opinion?
Please continue
Wait so you picked ONE part of my post out and tried to use that ONE part as the validity i was trying to express for my whole post. What are you a politicial?? Ridiculous Cow. But no the point being is, he has tried many of the games for the PS3, as have I through him, and to be frank they are garbage...
Makaveli I only have a 360, but I have to admit -- you are one of the most blind fanboys I have ever seen on this board.
Either stop posting on SW or learn to not be a complete jackass.
The only problem I have with this thread is that PS3 owners want to claim their exclusives are some how better, eventhough most fall in the7-8 rating range. These games are surely fun and worth playing, but it completley throws out their own arguments that all good 360 games are shooters and/or on the PC.
If we look at EXCLUSIVES for the 360 in the 7-8 range, there are tons.
You can't count Warhawk, Resistance, Heavenly Sword etc and just completely ignore the 360 exclusives that rate in the same range.
If we go that route, for 360 you have to count:
DOA4
PGR3
PGR4
Kameo
Ace Combat 6
Eternal Sonata (rumored to go to PS3 but have not heard much about it?)
Dead Rising
Saints Row
Chromehounds
Crackdown
Beautiful Katamari
There are plenty of exclusives in all kinds of genres. They may not be AAA, but none of PS3's games (exclusives)are either.
None of the games I mentioned are on PC.

That list screams "casual garbage" to me.
Games I do own:
Gears of War (lasted a month, i'll never play it again)
Forza 2 (wonderful game, just lacking on tracks)
Lost Planet (was a gift, but it was good for 5 hours)
Splinter Cell Double Agent (wow SC has gone downhill...)
Rainbow 6 Vegas (great game, but I have a PC with better shooters)
Halo 3 - probably my favorite 360 game-- the single player was godawful (as expected), but I was addicted to the online for quite a bit (then I got COD4 for PC so I'm done with Halo 3... forever...)
The only console game I'll be getting this holiday season is Assassin's Creed. I can't tell you how much I want a PS3 for 2008 right now.

While I am a PC gamer I couldn't game happily without my consoles. They are simply too many great games that don't go PC. I could surive with my PC/PS2 for another year with the current games available.
Which is why I am so dissapointed with my Xbox360. It seems that this constant flow of "AAA" games are nothing more than distractions that last 7 days for me. Forza 2 lasted me all summer and I was extremely pleased with it. GeOW was great but it got old in the same month I bought it. I played alot of Halo 3 MP, but the greatness of COD4 took me by suprise and I can't see myself going back to Halo. All the games mock me when I look at them, "you spent $60 on me! hahaha!"
I've grown wiser about purchasing games now -- simply because most of them have so little value nowadays. I still go back and play games on my PS2 that are years old, and I'm still buying new ones for $40 (or less) that are alot more fun than anything I have on my 360.
There is not a doubt in my mind that the lists of 360 games people tell me to get are great games, but I research them and now I can tell what games will last me and what won't.
And I know if I had a PS3 my situation would be just as bad -- probably much worse. But I look at it's future line up and see games that I really want -- so i'll eventually get it -- which is why I get annoyed when extremely narrow minded 360 gamers talk so highly of their console when it really doesn't even compare to my PS2 in terms of enjoyment yet.
To tell you the truth, the thing I want most for this holiday season is a Wii with SMG.

Last gen I was a manticore. I am 360/Wii this gen. I am not narrow minded, I am the next gen PS2 owner. I absoulutely see where you are coming from, wanting the next MGS and great Sony franchises.
I would love to have a console as good as PS2. It had all major genres covered and the games were actually good..
The reality is that I know 360 does not compare to PS2, yet it does come the closest when comparing it to next gen competition
nothing makes me more disapointed than when someone laughs at a companies downfall, you sir, are a disgrace to true gamers. and before you get all offended and unleash a "0mfg shut up cowz0rz" look at my sig, i give all consoles a chance and like all of them all equally, you are just a close minded pig ;D!revolution2k6
*claps* well said
Halo 3- Garbage, destroyed by PC FPS.
Bioshock- Far superior on PC, gimped on 360. Got Xbox'd and dumbed down for the 360 crowd anyway.
Mass Effect- When it ends up being as mediocre as Jade Empire, you won't be the one laughing.
Nothing to boast about lemmings.
Lol you cows sure don't mind to wait. If a game comes out on the xbox 360 and months later comes out on PC how does that help the PS3??? how does waiting months seem better than having it right than. Cow Owned....NEXT

True but has make a very good point... Far too many times in the past cows/PS supporters have bashed the XB/360's lineup's stating that they can play the games on the PC.. (which I highly doubt most of em can). Anyway, How does that help the PS argument? You're telling me that inorder to get the same enjoyment ect.. out of certain games I have to purchase a gaming rig AND a PS3? :? Besides that's not stoping cows from Hyping Haze(coming to the 360), UT3 coming to the (360/PC), ect.. If you really look at the lineups.. if you have a 360 you may not need a Gaming rig/PS3.
Sonata is comming to Ps3, with more content and 2 new playable characters.
DR2 and SR2 are confirmed multi-plats.
OhSnapitz:
PC has the most exclusives, and specialy for RTS enthusiasts, a gamming rig is needed. Having a 360 might open you to a great library, but having a Ps3/PC opens you to a greater library. So sure, 360 has the best cost/benefit.
