thats what i was just thinking of when i read the forza 2 hands-on preview. They mentioned the redone rumble with the 360 controller and how it feels like your on the asphalt. I think having no rumble in a racing game is gonna be real weird

Well MGS2 seemed to push out a lot of previous MGS fans (and casuals) But MGS3 seemed to be well recieved by fans and MGS 4 seems to be attracting more ppl again so we'll see. Not saying Halo isn't popular.tegovoltio

Those three franchises were system sellers 5 or 6 years ago.  Not so much anymore.

MGS isn't a system seller, not a big one like Halo 3, and it doesn't have more fans, the fans are more rabid perhaps, but there aren't more of them.

It's pwn or own, and both are pronounced as own (Source, www.purepwnage.com). Also, a racing game, especially one like gran turismo, that will lack rumble and force-feedback is a broken racing game. Also what was the innovative gameplay fram with Gran Turismo 4? The AI was lacking, and the whole game was more tracks + more cars (I've played it, I love gran turismo 4, and I hate the fact there will be no rumble or forcefeedback for 5).

you forgot thatg each itteration of MGS changes.....halo 2 did change a lot other then a few gameplay tweaks and online play (something i dont think MGS will ever surpase btw) so really i honostly have no idea what to expect from MGS4 and halo 3 seems to me to be much the same with added weapons and better gfx

I'm not interested in any of those games.  I don't like racing games, FF games are very boring after a while and I've lost interest in MGS (I liked the first two but I just couldn't be bothered with snake eater for some reason). 

I'm not really planning on getting a PS3 until about 3-4 years from now, and that's only if there are enough exclusives to grab my attention.  It just seems like a rip-off at the moment.
