3-4 disc >>> Waiting on installing FF13 on my harddrive .

Its pretty much this you got the choice of either a one time maybe 5-8 minute install wait or loading up a disc from the package to the disc rom, which probably take 30-40 seconds each time you needed to a swap the disc. I don't see the hassle in either.

we dont wanna wait like 10 - 30 min for an installation

Overall- i would prefer an installation so i wouldnt take the risk of multiple DVD's

Well disc scratch is probably more likely for a 1 disc game. This is because you take out the one disc over and over and the one disc is being used over and over (more wear and tear)

For a multi disc game you use each disc less thus lowering the chances for each disc (less wear and tear per disc)

So it is more likely for a 1 game disc to get a scratch.

360 is clearly the winner when you weant to play the game instead ofhaving to wait on instillations.blitzkid1

Thats the beauty of Bluray, if it gets scratched, it still plays. My friend put UT3 in his PS3 full of water spots just to prove a point. it played perfectly. I thought it was stupid of him to do that, but he did prove his point.

so you'd rather wait for 2x the loading times over the whole game than one install that halves loading times? installing is way better than that super slow optical media called dvd and x360 has a really slow dvd drive, the standard is now 20x not this pathetic 12x (16x was standard in 2005)

I wouldn't call the 360 clearly the winner because of that, but yea I prefer disc swaps over installations too. atleast in RPG's that is.

but in the end it doesnt really matter.
