THe Xbox 360 has definately sold 10 million consoles.  Taking into account that 10.4 million were sold to retailers in January, it's not hard to see that they have sold well over 10 million since those shipped.

Hell they have been outselling PS3 every month since it's release (Outside of the European launch), which adding up these numbers would mean it should be above 10 million.   All you have to do is see that the Xbox has sold more than the PS3 since it's launch and had almost 8 million by last november.

Microsoft News Tracker articles in the Peter Moore category. ... That "sold" number refers to units "sold into retail" and refers to units in transit, ...

I think some of what the dude wrote could be somewhat accurate, and think that the 360 is around 10 million sold.

But I lost all credibility for the article when he stated that the PS3 is on track to out sell the 360 by the end of the year.  This dude obviously has a hate on for MS, and the article obviously show this.  He lost crediability with that hilarious and obvious outright lie.

Besides that, the harsh reality is the the inferior hardware Wii is outselling both the 360 and PS3.  And the 360 is outselling the PS3.  Wii will do really good for the next 2 years, but drop off after that.  It's graphics are really dated, but the control scheme will keep it in the game for a little while along with it "Mario" games.

JPN 360 are for a Fact Under 450K. (I can post weeks upon week of sales, so I'll be generous and over estimate)

EU has historical been 60% of US numbers so thats about 3.03 Million

thats around 8.53 Million million up to Feb 07

unless you can so me some hard EU numbers or some historical data showing EU percentages Vs US numbers its fact 360 hasn't sold 10 as of Feb 07

OK. Now go back and do the math again.... since you like to guess, I would assume that WALMART has sold well over a million 360's since 11/22/05.

Historical M$ sells 60% of there US numbers in EU. I don't  think things changed as 360 hasn't broken any EU records

You haven't added the sells in Australasia or Southamerica or Africa. Unless you are counting them all in your estimations for Europe ("Others" in vgchart).
