And may probably be later derided as selling out to the gaijin, for not forcing Tecmo to abandon the 360 and focus solely on home-base consoles like the PS3. Then again, what were Sigma's sales in Japan?Probably, because in todays worldwide society, freedom of choice, and a unity of all peoples regardless of skin color, religion, or nationality, is a dead cause. Makes me happy to wake up every morning.
I'm not sure how Sigma did in Japan, I'm guessing not too much better than NG II though. Both systems don't have that large of a install base in Japan (I know PS3's is higher than 360 though), so I'm guessing it didn't do too well either.
Japan is an exception. They have an intense national pride (even more intense than ours, believe it or not) and (perhaps derived from) a strong respect for history and tradition--it's part of their fundamental cultural makeup. This may be a gross generalization, but in Japan, Japan comes first (decisively).I understand. I feel that it is an important thing for a country to have pride in itself. I feel all countries should have pride in themselves. But there's nothing wrong with accepting others as well. Pride can turn into hatred or alienation rather quickly, it's a double edged sword.
