I understand. I feel that it is an important thing for a country to have pride in itself. I feel all countries should have pride in themselves. But there's nothing wrong with accepting others as well. Pride can turn into hatred or alienation rather quickly, it's a double edged sword.
And that's what seems to be happening here. Despite plenty of Japanese games, Japanese don't seem to want to buy those games, and there only seems to be one reason for it--it's on an American console. If that ain't alienation, I don't know what is.
