Going from my pin-point calculations the PS3 is gonna sell7-9 million in Japan by 2015 including Holiday season and game releases etc. The 360 will sell 1.5 million by 2015. Are you serious with that statement????? Japan isn't even close to being the 2nd largest market. Japans launch alotment was 80k while NA and the UK got close to 400-500k easy. You're blind, Japan is an after thought.

I've used this analogy before, and I'm going to use it again:

Imagine the contest between Sony and Microsoft wasn't to make the best video game console, but rather to make the best food. Pretend that Microsoft makes a really good pork sandwich, and Sony makes a really good hamburger. Now, pretend that Microsoft did indeed make the better food. Japanese people have never bought American electronics. They never will buy American electronics even if they are great (Just like Saudi Arabians won't buy pork, even though it kicks ass). What's unfortunate for Sony's PS3 is that sales of the 360 in American is outselling the PS3 in American & Japan combined. That's the sad part. Worldwide the 360 is still outselling the PS3. Once Halo 3 is released sales of the 360 will probably double.

They don't buy many American cars or many American electronics (T.V., DVD's, Stereos, Speakers, etc..). America buys like 100x's more Asian products then Japan buys American products. I blame this on the government mostly for allowing Japan to import all their wares, but not export more American products.

After almost 2 years there are only 4 quality Japanese appealing games for it: ridge racer VI, DoA 4, Blue Dragon, and Eternal Sonata with a 6 month gap in each.

Also I already said that computer components cost much more in Japan then in America so PC gaming is highly expensive.

Finally I actually go to Japanese forums and I can honestly state people taht this whole "Japan is racist against American products" thing is the just laughably pathetic.

It isn't rocket science why the 360 is failing in Japan people. If the Saturn couldn't break into the Western market with it's handful of appealing games then surely the 360 can't break into Japan with it's few appealing games.

See Western publishers are too lazy to go to Japan since they are happy with the money they make in North America and Europe so that don't publish games there. Actually there are only 2 Western publishers in Japan *EA (brand new) and Microsoft* because of this Japanese games sell far more in Japan then overseas.

This is why you will NEVER EVER get any new quality Japanese appealing third party games.
