Meh, it's obvious that the PlayStation 3 will win in Japan when MGS4 and FFXIII are released, dunno about the rest of the world though. Xbox 360 has a good range of games, so thatshould carry on selling good until the eigth generation comes along. People will probably tire of Wii, so sales may decrease dramaticlly. Hoenstly I see Sony or Micosoft winning this...tythewarrior

Yeah im very curious to see how far the wii goes, or if it wil lever stop it's momentium. Course there is always the dimished return, but the DS just keeps rolling...so who knows.

Self ownage right there!

PS3 has a few great games compared to the 360 and it's near to outselling the 360. I find that great progress for the PS3. Right now, if you compare it to the 360 then, the sale numbers are pretty aligned for the U.S.

EDIT: I didn't see the "Bad news" but that's been there for a while. NOthing to stop 360 sales like normal.

North American numbers are released monthly.

If you do the very simple math...combined Japan and NA sales for the PS3 outnumber the 360 total sales.

(18,000 x 4 = 72,000) (1,635 x 4 = 6,540)

72,000 + 150,000 = 222,000 PS3 sales a month.

6,540 + 170,000 = 176,540 360 sales per month.

222,000 - 176, 540 = 45,460

Japan is heavily influenced by American culture, in other words "JAPAN LOVE USA LONG TIME!"

It should also be pointed out that Japanese Anime is heavily influenced by early North American animation. That is why so many Japanese cartoon charaters look white and have distorted features. This was standard practice in early American cartoons that ran in papers. It was copied by Japanese cartoonists and they love tradition...so they continue to make a lot of anime that looks the same to this very day.

These are world wide sales enough said . will you ps3 fanboy sheep ever stop. The only competition here is between 360 and wii and those two don't mind each other at all. Trying to compare 360 and wii is like apples to fans, they're both great in totally different ways.

(Note: Before any one calls me a fanboy I want to say that I would love to see sony doing well but its just not true thay have made a mess of thing on their ps3 and are now paying for it in sales.)

PS3 was at 159,000. Not 150,000. PS3 is not nearly doing as bad in the U.S as the 360 is in Japan. PS3 also has a higher price tag than the 360. Let's see the 360 sell as much as it did with the price of a PS3.
