[QUOTE="mD-"][QUOTE="NintendoSince83"] It will. Instead of the Codec where Otacon says "OMG SNAKE j00 HAVE TO SWAP TeH DISKS!!!! SikE IT'Z teH BLEW RAY" Otacon says "See those jaggies over there, Snake? Oh wait, this is the XBOX 360, multiplatform games always look better on here. Thank god you saved yourself the extra hundred dollars on a developer friendly console.NintendoSince83
this would be a clever/funny post, but unfortunately you (and many others) don't understand that it's very likely that a multiplatform game that was made on the PS3 and has been optimized to take advantage of the power/architecture of the cell, wouldn't run as well on the 360 because the 360's GPU/CPU isn't really designed to produce the elements you see in MGS4. There's a reason why Sony's first party games like Uncharted, Killzone 2, and MGS 4 are look like they're in another league visually. I really should elaborate on what I mean, but I'm lazy to do so, but I can leave with this link on why this is the case.

It's not as funny as your post and you trying to pretend to know what you're talking about. That link gave me a good chuckle as well. You should read through that thread and get back at me rather than disregarding everything I say. Everything there makes perfect sense. Ask yourself this: Do you think Sony, a multibillion conglomerate and a company that has been in the game console industry longer than Microsoft would invest into this technology for no reason at all?
Sony planned the design of the PS3 to use the cell to things that would be very difficult to do with the CPU that the Xbox 360 (like transitioning in game cinematics straight to gameplay like in MGS4). Some of the proof is seen with some of the recent PS3 games that have came out and in some of the other ones coming soon like Uncharted 2, which has visuals and cinematic qualities that have been rarely seen in console gaming to this date. In addition, more evidence of this is that the developers that are coming out with these games areSONY 1st PARTY DEVELOPERS. They have been learning how to program with the cell, thus they have been able to produce great looking games, some to be seen by the end of this year (UNLIKE 3rd PARTY DEVELOPERS WHO PROGRAM ON THE XBOX 360 FIRST AND DON'T TRY TO MASTER HOW TO USE THE CELL. Do you follow me?
I know I'm not elaborating enough, but everything I'm saying makes perfect sense. Cell computing is future along with Blu-ray and Sony was aiming for that to produce the kind of games like Uncharted 2 using these two. Check Intels roadmap in the processors they are going to develop 5-6 years from now. They are Cell processors.
