uncharted 2, and a bunch of cheap hookers.

I'm a PS3 owner and I don't. I guess it is just a select few. None of my friends game on-line via wireless either and they own PS3s too.
I was making a joke since PS3 people always add the cost of the wireless adaptor. I have my PS3 and 360 connected directly to my router.Oh I see. I never did understand that argument by Sony fanboys either. No one in their right mind games online with wireless, unless they have no choice and even then I would make it work some how or another, LOL!

I didn't have a computer in my basement where my consoles were until last month when I got my laptop so I would've had to get the router for the 360 until then. And I've been gaming online on my PS3 with my router two stories above my console for years now with very minimal lag.And I've been gaming online on my PS3 with my router two stories above my console for years now with very minimal lag.abdelmessih101it's not just lag, there's data loss

Out of my league for explanation. Also, you have to be wary of other devices interfering with your wireless connection. Such as microwaves or other devices using the same frequency.

30 purchases later I've had no problems.
I only buy like new, which is a couple bucks more than the lowest price.

Also, you have to be wary of other devices interfering with your wireless connection. Such as microwaves or other devices using the same frequency. I haven't had any problems at all other than the occasional bit of lag. My connection is almost always excellent. I almost always have a full connection bar when I'm playing Uncharted 2 and rarely get lag even though it's P2P. And I've never lagged on Resistance 1 or 2 which have dedicated servers. I have no clue what you're talking about with this, nor do I have any problems with my connection.

Informantion loss refers to when packets get lost on the way to you, thus making hard to reconstruct the data exactly the same as it was before it was sent.

Are you saying if I had that money, what should I use it on?
Sorry but I have other things to buy other then video games all the time. :P
****, i do all my gaming(pc, 360, ps3) through wifi, though my 360 is corded to my pc getting wifi from thatWhy would you buy a wireless adaptor if you are going to do nothing but play SP? Also who plays on-line games via wireless? You must be desperate or something?

PS3.......................................Xbox360 Arcade
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune..Wireless Adaptor
Mirror's Edge.......................Left 4 Dead 2
Uncharted: Among Thieves
What looks more attractive to you? If you had this money to blow and you have alway been a single player kinda guy but are looking to try out multiplayer what would you buy?
Shatin
Well, If you're trying to get into Multiplayer I'd definitely go with Xbox 360 and Left 4 Dead 2. Both systems are awesome, Uncharted 2 is pretty good for multiplayer as well. I wish I had this kind of money to spend. :P
Okay, so what happens as a result of this data loss?Lag. The orginal data said guy X is at location X, but if packets get lost, say the one saying guy X is at location X, then on your end guy x appears to still be at location Y (even though he is now at location x, you just can't see him.) Okay, thanks for the explanation.[QUOTE="abdelmessih101"]

I've seen that in Uncharted 2, but I can count those times on one hand, which pretty good considering I've played over 500 games online.
So yeah, I'll live with it. :P
I'd like to see some numbers to back up the argument that wireless causes lag. I did a little Googling, but the only hard numbers I could find indicated about 15ms of added lag. If that sounds bad, you may want to see if Game Mode is turned on on your TV - because if it isn't, you could be looking at at least that much lag, if not double.
I'm well aware that a flaky connection can induce lag, but let's see some numbers collected with decent signal strength.
