47% of Monster Hunter Fans in Japan say no to Wii.

Well... I found that fairly surprising. Japan loves Monster Hunter and they love the Wii; it seemed like a match made in heaven.

oh well. even if we do take this to be true 20% of wii oweners will buy the game and as 6 million wiis have been sold thats still around 1.200,000 copies even without the people who are going to buy a wii for the game

They love Monster Hunter as a hand held game. Atleast that's what has been proven in the past. Monster Hunter on the PS2 wasn't popular over there.

Monster hunter is awesome, i'll play the PSP version when it gets released.

That would require that they get special permission to use the internet connection of the 360 users to take them off Live to their own servers, FF11 on the 360 technically isn't an Xbox Live game at all. (which is why silver members can play it)

it should be on Xbox 360 and PS3 and PC.

Xbox 360 and PC for the large amount of online users and western marketshare and PS3 for the large fanbase in Japan.

Theres nothing wrong with dreaming about it. I would totally kick ass if the online was free and the servers were made by capcom.

And that is exactly why it's inaccurate. The survey consist of less than 800 people IE, less than 1% of the group of people in question. No way can you get an accurate representation out of such a tiny sample. If you for somereason belive you can then I suggest you go back to school to be re-educated on statistics.

The Wii is the best-selling console in Japan. If you asked the same question with PS3, it would have been 87% saying no instead of 47%.
