People who actually prefer the dualshock must have small hands, therefore small dicks. The 360 controller is the closest thing to perfection we have, anyone who says otherwise is a pus$y

So much butthurt in this post!Sorry, but ergonomically the 360 pad is better than the dualshock, and thats fact, not opinion. Thats what matters most.
People saying sixaxis is a plus for the dualshock .... biggest waste of time ever. The triggers are inferior on the dualshock, the stick layout. Also, the convex thumbsticks means your thumbs slip more than with the concave thumbsticks on the 360 pad.
The ONLY thing the dualshock has over the 360 pad is the Dpad, which is barely in the vast majority of games today. Even build quality, the 360 wins because the dualshock is built of out cheaper plastic and feels lighters in the hand.
Six-Axis seemed okay. But, on the two games I used it on: KZ3 and Heavy Rain, I was less than impressed.
1. It wasn't that precise when I used it in KZ3 (eg opening gates in the early levels). I needed 2 or 3 tries before it worked. I also can't disable it in the game which sucks.
2. It was even worse in Heavy Rain. Maybe it's just the game. But, the motion-sensitive sequences were pretty bad. If I wanted motion control for the PS3, I'd stick with a Move. It's okay if I can adjust the sensitivity to make shorter movements. But, I can't. Brushing the teeth in the tutorial takes a lot more effort than brushing in real life.

I haven't used the 360 D-Pad much except in games like Bioshock and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (both on the PC). The D-Pad wasn't a liability with those games. It worked fine. I suppose if I ever get into fighting games on the PC, I'll have to consider a 3rd-party controller with a good D-Pad. I played 360 games with friends (or their kids) on occasion. I didn't see any problems with most games.

My biggest beef with Sony PS3 controllers is durability. It feels cheap unlike the console itself which is top-notch. My youngest kid got her hands on the wireless DS3 and now the right trigger feels weak and there's plastic loose inside. I'll have to open the DS3 up and see what she broke. The 360 controller feels very robust in comparison. RROD aside, Microsoft makes some very tough components. I remember the Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro and Sidewinder Gamepad, both for the PC. They're legend for durability. The same goes for the 360 controller.
