Well... can you link me to a known LEGIT website with genuine copies of Windows 7 or 8 for a similar price(preferably 7 because 8 sucks)? I'm actually really considering buying that CPU/mobo combo you linked, but not if I have to spend a ton of money just to re-buy Windows. And tbqh I'd pirate Windows before giving that website you linked my credit card info lol. I don't trust that site at all, so sketch.[QUOTE="Messiahbolical-"][QUOTE="superclocked"]Like I said, I can't vouch for that particular site. But, I've used paypal with a similar site that gave me Windows 7 64 for $35, and I didn't have a single issue. Paypal does have buyer protection afterall. The link for the software was straight to Microsoft.com...jhonMalcovich
You´d better pay a few additional bucks and change that CPU for FX 8350.Â

That's actually the one I was considering. This is an excellent 8350 combination.. $174.99 after $25 Newegg gift card - AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.2GHz Eight-Core CPU $109.99 - GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P Motherboard $179.99 - PowerColor PCS+ Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card If you plan on going crossfire down the road, get this motherboard instead... $127.99 - GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 MotherboardLulz, show me one PC gamer that actually uses a keyboard like that.nethernovaGive me a regular keyboard like that any day of the week. I tripped over the wire and broke my regular, cheap keyboard. I would much rather have that regular keyboard back than to be using this big Logitech K350. I despise "ergonomic" keyboards...
Of course but it's still possible to game on PC spending very little money in comparison to consoles and in the long run PC gaming is certainly cheaper.XxR3m1xInHDn3D
In the long run if you plan on being a serious PC gamer you'll still spend more. I've built 3 whole computers this entire generation. Luckily we hit a point with CPU power where the core of my latest machine shouldn't have to be upgraded for many years.Â
I went from a Core 2 Duo + 8800gts 640mb to an i7 930 + GTX 470 and finally to an i7 3770k + 2x570 GTXs and now im looking at upgrading the 570s because I cannot play a lot of new games on high settings because of a bad RAM bottleneck I have. In the hardware's defense, it was my stupid idea to get a GPU with only 1.2 gbs of video ram.
If you consider how often I use my PC for processing intensive applications (video codex, gaming, multitasking, and all of that jazz), it's actually been a great value despite the high cost. I use a console 1/20th of the time I use a PC.

Friend.. just like you can research and find discounted PC components, console gamers can research and find discounted software. Â I've purchased about 12 titles for the 360 over the last 12 months and I've spent all of $150-180. Â And that's only because I bought GTAV the day it was released. Â No it's not $5 steam titles but it's not $60 titles either. Â Besides who has time to play all of those steam games. Â

Funny how you list games from 3 different consoles.
Â
In order to play all those games you'd have to throw $1225 just for the consoles, $1335 if you want to play online (lol paying for online).
Â
Â
Edit, oops, forgot to add the 360 and PS3, so it'll be: $1825.
..sorry bud but no matter how you twist it, the PS3 finished dead last. I agree with everything else you said.OhSnapitz360 is last place, and ps3 widens lead with TLoU, GTA5 superior version bundle, and GT6. Generation will not be over for long time however. Lemming wish to claim generation ends when 360 was still ahead last year, however ps3 pass at beginning of year and generation doesn't end when next gen launches or when lemming want it to end. Please do not cry.

I like how you take exclusives from all the consoles to put against just the PC. Thing is, this includes the 3 free games. Does it burn????i'm getting ready to build a new pc and would not even think of starting unless i have around $1,200 for the project.
i don't want something on the  level of the new consoles i want something that shows off exactly why you get a nice pc in addition to your new consoles.
[QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"] Ok but I care about all those things, and what matters to me is more important to me than what matters to you. it is easier to do than building a model kit.
slide some components into some slots, route and connect a few wires together and bam, you're done.
it's more simple than cooking dinner.
also, almost every game supports controllers these days.
it's rare to see one that does not do it anymore.
