Going after the live service money, acknowledging AAA game budgets are unsustainable and looking for supplemental income isn't the same as the Xbox strategy. Again, with the false equivalencies. Xbox can't sell hardware at even the same level as their previous worst console. They can't grow Game Pass. They aren't making meaningful progress in growing their PC presence. So they are forced to sell their biggest and best titles on competitors hardware to cover losses... PlayStation 5 is outselling the PlayStation 4, which outsold the PS3. PlayStation is STILL making billions more in revenue than Xbox+ABK. Nintendo just broke 150 million console units and 1.35 billion software units. Those numbers spit in the face of everything you're trying to push here.

But please, continue with the false equivalencies and disingenuous takes. They're obviously needed to make yourself feel better about the state of Xbox.

What does your response have to do with PlayStation not putting games on Xbox? Because they aren't going to do that...

Yes, porting games to PC is very inexpensive, and a good way to push a few hundred thousand more sales. They still aren't porting all games day 1. They also aren't porting day 1 or timed ports to Xbox. Xbox is doing both of those things. The Xbox strategy and the PlayStation strategy aren't the same thing. There is no PlayStation Game Pass. There is no PC subscription service. The majority of ports come to PC much later. And other than the 3rd party contractually obligated Xbox ports, PlayStation isn't selling games on Xbox.

The gaming CEO's are doing everything they can to launch the next Fortnite. The live service problem continues to be the bane of their existence. Xbox at least has COD. BLOPS 6 is their saving grace at the moment. Any yoy growth they had was because of COD. (especially COD on PS5) PlayStation doesn't have one of those. They also don't have the ability to go out and buy one. Destiny 2 wasn't it. Concord lmao... Foamstars? PlayStation doesn't want to spend $500 million on another Naughty Dog game every couple years. They wanna spend $20 million on a shooter that prints money. THAT'S what will improve their margins.

i'm quoting both past and present PlayStation leaders.. PlayStation leaders who point to a changing gaming industry which is why PlayStation is adopting a multiplatform approach and chasing live service games..

PlayStation is chasing live service games.. PlayStation has to rely on remasters and PC ports to fund new games.. all because PlayStation can no longer depend on just console sales and exclusive games..

now look at the first sentence of post #150.. literally the first word is "Xbox".. you can't help yourself, you have to make everything about Xbox..
