What CPU do you have? How much RAM?trix5817E6750, 4 GB. It's not those, and as I've already pointed out fifteen thousand times, EVERYTHING ELSE RUNS FINE.

I don't know what to tell you then. Look at all the benchmarks. The 8800GT runs it fine. At Toms Hardware it ran Crysis with an average of 36 fps @ 1600*1200 on High. Sucks for you I guess.

So you don't have any idea, yet you're perfectly happy telling me that I must have **** up. Seems somewhat hypocritical to me.As for benchmarks, we've both posted a set supporting our argument. One of them is wrong, and I'm going with the one that agrees with what I've seen with my own eyes.

Yeah, I don't know what to tell you because benchmarks say otherwise and so do most 8800GT owners.....I can'tgo and do tests on your PC, so again, I don't know what to say. Just don't go claiming that Crysis runs like crap on a 8800GT, because it does not. Tomshardware is a very respected site. I'll trust them over a GS poster any day..
Tomshardware is a very respected site. I'll trust them over a GS poster any day..Yeah, because no one's heard of HardOCP... You don't have to trust me; just go read the benchmark I linked from [H]. It shows Crysis running like crap on an 8800 GTS (G92). That fits perfectly with my own observations of my 8800 GT.

Completely setting aside my system for the moment, if Crysis is so piss-poor (as the linked benchmark shows) on Medium/High on a 8800 GTS (G92), then how is is supposed to run on High on an 8800 GT?

I'd say TomsHardware is more reputable....
Not to mention the majority of benchmarking sites show that a 8800GT can run Crysis fine on High....
Im surprised everyone has having trouble running Crysis.....
have you got the 1.2 patch?
I played it again today 1240X1024, 0XAA, With the Natural Mod (that seriously looks much better than on very high), and the frame rate rarely dipped below 30, staying above almost constantly.
Remarkable stuff, and it looked a treat on my hardware (see sig).... which isnt exactly a 'hardcore zomg gaming rig'.... Im still astounded how good the game looks and how much fun it still is to play (going through it again on delta).Another thing.. the sound in the game is seriously amazing (effects, music, voices)... very underrated...
(resised mind you)
