and if somebody felt a reason to buy a 360 they would have and then played it. how does that make your opinion any more valid simply because you own one? is your view on forza horizon, for example, superior than somebody else's who also hasn't played it simply because you own a 360?

When it comes to having a preference only people who own both systems can form a real opinion on what system is "better" (which is subjective) a person who only has does not have an opinion.
A person who only eats vanilla ice cream does not prefer it over choclate because they never had chocolate before. Only after they have tried both are they able to say which one they think is better.
And no my opinion is not better than anyone else's.
not true. you not playing your 360 for four months is the equivalent of not owning it for four months since, honestly, what's the difference? when you say something like the 360 only has halo 4 and the witcher 2 for the year even though you have no experience with the other games how does it make your opinion any different than somebody who doesn't even have one? neither of you played the games. you haven't tried them so how do you know you don't like them?
So because I haven't played my Wii in over a year I don't own one? Because I haven't drove my motorcycle since summer I don't own one anymore? Wow talk about flawed logic....
Let's look at my motorcycle for instance, I own one, you may or may not. However I do know more than someone who does not own a bike because I happen to. Same goes for my 360 and Wii.
