Microsoft has certainly not lost. The 360 has sold nearly triple what the original Xbox sold last gen, the games division has been profitable for years and it has a larger marketshare than its biggest rival last gen.

Do you think Apple cares how far behind Microsoft and Google in the PC and mobile OS business as they line their coffers with money?

If Sony was actually making the money the PS brand has the potential to earn, the whole first and last place would mean very little or next to nothing as long as the console continued to see a healthy growth.

They're bleeding money instead.
