halo is a great game and a great franshise...i know it's the number one most fun game to hate on, but it's getting old

comparing killzone 2 to halo 3 is like comparing infamous to prototype, sure from the outside looking in they look very similar but when you spend time with each game, they are completely different game types, same goes for halo 3 and killzone 2

That's fine IYO sure. An average game in a most peoples eyes does not get it's own league and scores 9.0+ across the bored, with some of the most replay valve (in most people's eyes.)

Numbers don't mean a thing. The Wii has sold way more than the 360 and PS3. Doesn't mean it's a better console.

KZ2 is way better than Halo 3 in every way. And yes, I have both. I own both systems. the 360 may have ruled early on but I am playing my PS3 way more because of way better exclusives. There are literally no exclusives for the 360 I am looking forward to except maybe Alan Wake and the new Splinter Cell. And yes, Halo 3 is like a cartoon--there I said it. The only exclusive I am playing for the 360 right now is Tales of Vesperia and a better version is coming out for the PS3. And is there nothing more that 360 fanboys can talk about OTHER than a game released two years ago?

hmm fair comparison by just checking sales. by your logic Wii Sports is the greatest game ever to grace the earth.

but really it is more a matter of opinion as besides being killer aps and being FPS's these two games don't have much incommon with each other.

*makes a confused head twirl thing* When did i ever say golden eye was terrible? when in my post ever? 2nd One can make any argument he wants based upon age, you just did you made the argument that halo wouldn't be good made back then, and golden eye would be a far better experience if made now.

Um no it wouldn't If halo was made back then exactly as it is now except with less graphics and no online it would be the BEST FPS even compared to PC games because it would as I've said use the exact same gameplay and elements as it does today but before any other game had done them halo would have been the first for so many FPS elements if it was made back then as it is today it wouldn't even be funny how many fps games would have to be cited as having elements from halo.
and if golden eye was released today with its exact same gameplay but with online 4 player matches and better graphics would be laughed at, 4 players? so what if it has online its just 4 players compared to today's games golden eye has generic rudimentary gameplay.
Golden eye is not far better, It was great when it was released but by today's standards its generic and archaic halo was a Fantastic game for its time just as golden eye was fantastic when it was released.

True, but who's to say that would change the standings of the reviews. We have to work off of what we know, so we say halo is a higher scoring game than killzone and remains so and will always remain so.

Majority general public and reviewers opinions mean nothing to Harry Balzac......Harry says that Killzone 2 is a vastly superior gaming experience to Halo 3, and what Harry says goes.

You need to learn how to comprehend what you read. I implied that the rating of Halo would have decayed a little, like a review site and magazine say a score would do for a game. I also said that there is no way of knowing how much that score would have decayed or would that decay be enough to make it numerically lower than KZ2. Then I said, the fact is we don't know the answer, so you have to go with what you do know.

Anyone with half a brain will know both are insanely good games. KZ has graphics department nailed while Halo 3 has the online multiplayer covered. Either way, that doesnt make Halo 3 graphics crap, nor does it make KZ Multiplayer crap in any sense, they are both astounding in their own ways.
