Hello all. Many of you have no clue who the heck I am. That's fine and dandy i'm a gamer just like you are. The difference is I've been playing games for about 17 years. That's a really long time. I got my first NES when I was 6 and I was born in 1984. Which makes me 23 in June 20. What are you going to get me for my birthday?! Better not forget!:D
Oh yeah back to my post. Well it's quite simple really. All this babbling and posting, all the flaming and spamming. It dosen't really matter. I already know who the true winner of the system wars is. Perhaps most of you never thought of this. However one thing is clear. There are a ton, yes a TON of great games coming out at the end of this decade. Specifically 2007-08.
So what does this all have to do with who's going to win? Well the winner has already been declared you see. You probably know him or her. They frequently visit this board and post about their favorite system, in hopes of winning some imaginary award.
So i'm here to declare that winner. That winner is you my friend. No not the person behind you but you reading this post. How can that be Unstop? Are you mad posting this at 3:40 am in the morning? Well no not really. Just think a little bit.
All three companies are pushing out their best talent and their best games for the next 2 years. Which means you get to play them. You don't have to work 60+ hour weeks to crank out a videogame, rarely seeing your family. You get to kick back and relax on your comfy chair or sofa and enjoy Halo 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Smash Brothers Brawl. No sweating is needed. Hell even the PC is getting some killer titles and still has staying power.
Just to conclude all this fighting really is just for fun. Keep it light hearted and try not to insult anyone. The way I see it everyone who plays videogames has already won.
Whether first time, casual, semi hard-core, or hard-core. We are all part of videogames. All our epic journies, battles, quests, and adventurers will go on. It is important to enjoy the time we have with our friends and family. To enjoy and be grateful we are able to play games when some kid is lying asleep hungry in the other part of the world.
With that thought I'd like to declare the title champion of System Wars. The winner of the system wars is the gamers. Congratulations, now go off and play. :D
Peace
