Kinda surprised xbl gold is required for a beta though? It also surprised me that the first monster Hunter beta required it. I've never not had ps plus, so maybe a lot more requires it than I thought. Anyways, people are looking at a large number and equating it to money earned (profit)... I'd love to see the actually profit or lack there of but the numbers are mixed in with surface pros and some other stuff to fluff it up for shareholders.

There were only shortages on Black Friday weekend, and only due to Sony limiting the number of $200 consoles that could be sold. It was readily available all of December.
