@pelvist: I seriously doubt it. Numbers are lower because promotions ended for PS4 and prices went back to $299, it’s happened before. The only deal they had was the $249 Battlefront 2 bundle and I believe it was for one week (I may be wrong on the duration, not sure).
I believe the slump is only temporary. Games like GOW4, Spiderman, etc. will ensure that this year’s numbers will even be better than last year. I expect sales to start slowing down next year however. This year though will be the year they peak with all the highly anticipated exclusives they plan to release and a permanent price drop to $199 for the Slim in time for the holidays.

It is peculiar how he refers to Xbox One sales but Switch unit sales. One may be drawn to the conclusion that Xbox One shifted fewer units than PS4, but with the $500 model, drew greater sales dollars. This was so much easier to discuss when the actual numbers were released and not just filtered by PR to cast their company in the best light.

I was just stating that the cows are upset because its been reported that they finished in 3rd place for the month in NA, but they still won worldwide is sad and pathetic LOL.
