Iwouldn't call Indigo Prophecy even a decent title. it started out decent, then turned into a Dragons Lair ripoff in terms of gameplay...

I think you have confused Halo 3: Recon with Halo Wars...which is an RTS and not an FPS like Recon.

its only fanboys who cry, the ones who just got 1 console and cannot enjoy what other systems offer...

To determine which console has the best upcoming line-up of games is impossible, since whats great for me might not interest you or vice versa... therefore while i might prefare the line for X system, you might prefare the line-up for Y system..

In reality both consoles have some great titles coming up later on this year / next year, and gamers should just focus on what games are coming out on their fav system instead of waisting time arguing which line-up is better..

Luckily i'll just enjoy what both PS3 & 360 have to offer and keep an eye on the Wii, cause if a couple more games come out which i'm interested in, I might get one..

Yes but you guys are forgetting one crucial fact: The develpment cycle of Halo points out that Halo 4 or whatever the fourth game is going to be called is being released most likely in 2010 and Gears of War 3 will most likely come out the same year :/(I might be wrong but who knows right?)

I think M$ may use Halo 3:Recon as their big FPS title next year. I realize it's an expansion, but I can see it.

You are right, Halo's take awhile (about 3-4 years) to make proper, whereas GeoW only take Two (Due to the engine being up and running.) After GeoW2, EPIC owns the franchise, so I expect M$ to pay A LOT to keep it on 360 after that. Smart Move on EPIC's part.

look at Killzone 2..It was announced waaay back (05 or 06?) and look, people are still waiting

This. Look, I know cows are used to seeing CGI trailers for games 3 years before they come out and being ridiculously excited for it the whole time, but other companies prefer to hold their cards close to their vests, so to speak. Some games may be announced at various events throughout '09, and some just may be announced out the blue. MS doesn't really have to keep it userbase on pins and needles because their library is solid enough to where you can play what available now instead of looking forward to what's to come.
