What does the PS3 have no that Microsoft pretty much has scored all of Sony's major exclusives and on top of that kept their game up for a much longer period of time. AND went from the third party support Sony had with their PS2 to being the home of the vast majority of newly released games.

Most of those games looks distant to far far away. And regarding DC universe I'm pretty sure 360 had something in store for that. Other games looks doubtful or no brainers.

Concerning the "lack of exclusives" on 360. They just had Fable 2 and will have Gears Of War 2, Banjo & Kazooie and Halo Wars all soon. The PS3 exclusives worth buying has been few and far in between. Not to mentions the massive flops they've had (Haze, Motorstorm, Lair). Not to mention the fact that the life span of the PS3 is supposed to eclipse the 360 which means that Microsoft probably are working and planning a new console release in 2010-11.

Microsoft hasn't used Huxley, Alan Wake, Huxley and Splinter Cell Conviction nearly as much Sony has used GT5, Prototype, That FPS mmorpg and such. The multiplat taunt lacks that oomph factor when the 360 gets the superior versions as far as consoles are concerned. Besides, I heard this last year too, yet I've got such a backlog of quality games, I feel like I'll never get out from under, so I'm not sure how I should be worried about lack of games in, y'know, REAL LIFE.

As for your order... the Wii has jolly-stomped the competition. No question about that. First place is wrapped up. The battle cry of "We're number two!!!" is a slogan only fit for a pencil company. So two Insomniac games next year? That's crazy, unless you are talking about another s*** 4 hour downloadable game.

Oh and as someone pointed out before, this was said with Halo 3. "Lol lems you got nothing next year we have (insert all the games they list for 09 because they thought they were coming out in 08) with MGS4, rockstars untitled project, team ico project, final fantasy xiii, tekken 6, socom 4/zipper project, kingdom hearts 3" and honestly, it's debatable between 360 and PS3.

PS3: Killzone 2, Infamous, White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain, TRICO, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, new R & C, MAG, Wardevil, new Twisted Metal, Dark Cloud 3, possibility of FF13 and GT5 in Japan plus a few more games that Sony will reveal when they find the right time.

360: Halo 3 Recon, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell, Alan Wake, Halo Wars, Star Ocean 4, Cry On, Forza 3, PGR 5, Perfect Dark Zero 2 and I'm sure MS are also going to reveal a few new games when they find the right time to do so.

Even if they did release a new system by that time i doubt people will jump on it...Since the 360 was the most defective system this gen..And also i bet you the new 360 system will have a Blu-Ray Drive..

As far PS3 exclusive you shouldn't look back on just flops in the past..There was some great exclusive games too that came like Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Folklore, Motor Storm(I think it was a fun game), Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction..All worthy games to buy or play compared to lair...

Also the games that was mention Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, Infamous, White Knight Story, God of War 3, War Devil will come out next year... I hope the new Team Ico game will be out late 09 and uncharted 2..

Sony got the best first party exclusive games just expect more new games to be announce..

OK, just to prove to everyone that both consoles have a lot for 2009-

PS3: Killzone 2, Infamous, White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain, TRICO, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, new R & C, MAG, Wardevil, new Twisted Metal, Dark Cloud 3, possibility of FF13 and GT5 in Japan plus a few more games that Sony will reveal when they find the right time.

360: Halo 3 Recon, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell, Alan Wake, Halo Wars, Star Ocean 4, Cry On, Forza 3, PGR 5, Perfect Dark Zero 2 and I'm sure MS are also going to reveal a few new games when they find the right time to do so.

I don't know why, but I enjoy listing great-looking games that I won't be able to play for a whole year :D

splinter cell?? star ocean 4 is most likely time exclusive..Perfect dark 2 they announce it already?? mass effect 2 i heard rumors it will come out on the ps3 and i know it will..lol..

Besides multiplats, the Xbox 360 has no more good exlcusive games left. Microsoft is going to abandon the 360 soon and start saving its talent and IPs for their next system. Meanwhile Sony will be delivering solid exclusives and sharing the same multiplats with the 360.
