Yes sales mean something. It means more people LOVED one game over another. Cows praise all these exclusives, but they never buy them. lol!! Besides MGS IV, Uncharted and GT5, most PS3 exclusives have not be big sellers (selling 8 million or more). If a game is truly great it should sell millions and millions. Just ask Nintendo and their Mario Kart games. The PS3 had like 9 out of 11 flops for their exclusives last year.

In all seriousness though, Rocksteady blew me away more than any other dev last gen. Arkham City is an absolutely god tier game in incredible design. I cannot praise that game enough. It does everything as perfectly as possible... My eyes are on them to see what they cook up next.

1.Naughty Dog-Two new IPs, Uncharted 2 and TLOU are at 95 metacritic scores.

2.Rockstar-Despite the mediocre GTA4, they came back strong with the great Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3.

3.Rocksteady-Made the best game this gen (Arkham City), Arkham Asylum was also amazing.

Honorable mentions for Platinum Games and Bioware.

After Uncharter 2? Yes. After Uncharted 3 and TLOU I'd say they are a bit overrated just like TLOU. I just finished TLOU today and I'm not quite sure how or why it got all those perfect scores. While I hated Tom McShea's poorly written review--I actually agree with his score. This game was and is truly an 8.0 experience. There was nothing there that hasn't been seen or done. I want ND to step up their game next time for all the s**t talking they were doing about other devs games because currenly after TLOU and UC3 they've shown that they are all talk and no show.

I bought halo 4 because I heard good things about it and because I was interested in trying a halo game. I bought dishonored because I felt like it would be an interesting game to play. I didn't even looked at the metascore when I bought that game and I enjoyed it even though I suck at it.The same thing applies for two other 360 games I bought which were witcher 2 and sonic generations.
