Its pretty important if you think about it this way. Jacket for Alan Wake = Suit for Phenix in Gears? If we can rave about that suit why shouldnt we be able to rave about alan's jacket.

This game has huge potentials either way. Realistic game + horror elements. I just cant wait to see them render zombies/demons? what the hell do they have anyways.

These are damn good. On par with Crysis, although I'm not sure about the vegetation. The grass in the last screenshot looks a little miffy.

Lol at the ridiculousness of this thread. A jacket. WHAT!? And a jacket out of a cinematic trailer at that!! Drakes and MGS4 and certainly Gears 1 and 2 and Resistance 2 all look just as good character model wise i reckon. That first pic is utterly uninspiring.

Is anyone amazed at how much we're pushing 3 year old hardware? It just seem that graphics on these consoles have been steadily improve over the years and will continue to. If i was a hardcore PC gamer, I would be pist off at crytec, or any pc developer for having crappy ass optimization. wile315

I'm not so sure that those are X360 screenshots....

Looks pretty good, but I'm not so sure about graphics king. I have the pic as my wallpaper BTW :P

But it has potential in becoming a new graphics king. But it'll have some serious competition.

There's Offset

There's also Empire TW which looks absolutely fantastic.

Even Dawn of War 2 has a chance in being one of the best looking.

That's a terrible image (not dissing on the graphics).

I hope to see better images of the game. Everything but Alan was blurred out so we should focus on him.
