Finally, and in what could be the best bit of news out of the lot, all of Killzone: Shadow Fallsmultiplayer DLC will be FREE!

Yep, you read that right. Guerilla mentions that To increase longevity even further, we plan to continue support for the title well after launch and yes, DLC multiplayer maps will be released free of charge to ensure everyone can play.

I dont know about you, but this is awesome news especially how most studios/publishers nickel and dime us out of everything. Lets hope other games follow suit soon.

Definitely awesome. I refuse to buy the 50 dollar season passes or the 15 dollar map packs for shooters. They should be free or if charged, pretty cheap in my opinion. Killzone 2 and 3's map packs were relatively inexpensive so it was tolerable to buy. 

The Killzone MP gameplay looked really good. Gritty with lots of blood and not cartoonish like COD.

Hmmm, I might get Killzone at launch now. I already pre-ordered Watch Dogs and would like to get one more game with the system. Killzone seems to be the front runner now thanks to the free maps. Game looked good already anyway though.

You can't you play MP without PS+ but it is still a great deal if they keep supporting it.

It's a first party studio, so these stuff can happen.

I don't want to either. This game is the only game out there right now that I would pay to play online for. It's going to take more games than that. I'm not paying $60 a year or whatever PS+ costs just to play one game online.

Well this is great news seeing getting the game launch day. I have Still stood by never buying MP map dlc, seeing as i spend a lot of time on PC and not consoles with custom community content/maps is hard to commit to paying $15(i think thats the usual cost) for map packs
