I must be insane because VC and Demon's Souls were the only good looking ones, I'd have to say the western library of the PS3 is pretty weak.

I agree the PS3 has plenty of great games to warrant a purchase ($299 btw). But after getting all those games you'd be over $1,000 lol.

i don't agree with all your choices but for the most part that's not too shabby a lineup if they were all out

btw fat princess was terrible don't waste your money on a game where nothing you do makes any difference to the outcome of the match

anyway yes if you can only have one system the ps3 is not quite as bad a joke as it has been for the last two years, granted it's no 360 but the ps3 has other things going for it that makes up for that and overall i'm glad i have one

Thanks for reminding me about Valkyria chronicles I always seem to forget about that game and as for most of the others I'll probably pick those up in January.

Those are some good games, but nothing that the other systems can't match. I'll probably get a used PS3 for $100 in a couple years. Sony was late to the party and I've already invested too much money in my 360, Wii, and PC to bother paying $300 to play 2 games.

only games i would actually purchase from that list are (MAYBE) Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank, (POSSIBLY) Metal Gear since i've only played the second one and thought it was mediocre, Heavy Rain if it gets good reviews, and Fat Princess if its cheap enough. The rest are garbage.

however, if i do stumble across 300 dollars and dont have something else to spend it on, i wouldnt mind a blu ray player (PS3)

But for somebody who's already invested in other platforms it isn't worth buying, imo. I'm not rich, I don't care for Blu-Ray, and I don't have nearly enough time to play all the games I already own, let alone the ones I'll be getting in next 6 months.

What would be the point of buying a PS3? I really want to play MGS4 and Uncharted 2, but not for $300 entry fee. Sad thing is I don't have any cow friends, so I can't borrow a PS3. Bummer.

The PS3 is a great system and Sony has done a very good job with 1st party support at this point, but some people just don't care to have one. I'm one of those people. Remember the first couple years of the PS3? You could get a Wii and 360 for the same price as the PS3. I went for that and it's paid off big time.
