to me Half life series is greatest thing in the world especially in 1998 for the first time when it debuted it was greatest thing humanity has ever experienced. i dont even know how i will react when HL3 will finally announce. i mean jump from excitement. Please Valve save us all.

It's in my top 20, probably thee best MMO I've ever played out of WoW, FF11, Rift, Wildstar, Guild Wars, Hellgate London, Guild Wars 2, AoC, Warhammer, Tera and Swtor

@cainetao11: I really loved Jade Empire. I promised myself I'd play it someday when I wanted to revisit classic bioware. I feel like I always had an undeserved disappointment in Jade Empire because it wasn't as good as KOTOR (to me), but revisiting it now I think would give me a new sense of appreciation.

I always forget that in your infinite shitty Canadian Wisdom you've never played anything Metroid. God damn it mooksi.

@TheEroica: Btw, I told you ALttP was knocked down, didn't I? Man, you really should get Persona 4 Golden, now that you have a Vita :p

@charizard1605: I don't have a Vita and probably will never get one, but I have contemplated buying P4 for my PS2. Is it close enough to the Vita version in greatness?

@The_Deepblue: Yes. The Vita version does add a fair bit of content, and it adds some gameplay fixes that really help the game reach its greatness, but the PS2 version is just fine on its own. It's fundamentally the same game, and outside of Shuffle Time or Persona Fusion skill inheritance, the gameplay changes won't be missed either. I'd say go for it, and it's only $10 on PSN for PS2, if you just wanna go own that route.

If you just want to play Golden, you could maybe just pick up a PlayStation TV (I think that's $99), and play P4G on that instead.

wow this is tough, so many great games. my list is based on my most memorable games and the ones i played the most, i will keep adding as soon as i remember more. i dont know if i want to put genesis games on the list because i played them a shit load but found them too hard and could never finish them until emulators where i could save and load any time i want.

bioshock 1 (great story/atmosphere, gaming masterpiece)

halo ce (best halo story, revolutionary for its time. played it for the first time in around 07/08 on pc and still loved it)

gears of war 1 (im pretty sure this was the first console multiplayer game i ever played and the first one i put time into. its a tps like no other)

After our conversation I went into gamestop and tried to get it on the cheap... didn't have it.

Personally, I got it for $30 from the PSN Store, digitally. To this date, Persona 4 Golden remains the only Vita game I actually paid for, and I have over 30 Vita games at this point. I paid as much for Persona 4 Golden as I did for my Vita itself. No regrets, and I would do it again if I could. It's worth every single one of those 3,000 pennies.

I've made many attempts at a top ten list in one of the many past "Top 10 Games" threads and I not only find it difficult to stay consistent but also to compare older games with modern games; nostalgia is a bitch. With that said here are some games that I love:

-MGS3 (I love all of the MGS games but Snake Eater is just that good)

@TheEroica: No, and I highly doubt it will ever be on Plus, since it's been two years now. I think Atlus is more content to just put it on sale again and again instead of putting it on Plus. Like, every couple of months, it goes on a sale with a major price cut.
