The reason why Lisa did that was simple: semi-custom applications is a lucrative business. The margins are low, but the volume is high and the net income is consistent. Catering to gamers was not part of the win-condition; making AMD a viable, financially robust company was. Here is a fun fact: Vega was designed primarily for Apple and Navi is being designed for Sony – the PS5 to be precise.

Photomodes don't count. Even if it was debatable, that's still 10 great looking games vs 2 great looking games; on top of the remaining library all looking much better on PC.

GoW, HZD, Uncharted 4, U:LL, TO:1886, Infamous SS, Ratchet and Clank...Easily among the best looking games period . After E3 you can add four more.. to that list.

Saying the PS4 only has two games to mention in the discussion is simply not true.

TO:1886 looks like complete trash in gameplay. If you're going to include that I can increase the PC list to around 20-30 games on Ultra this gen - which is still a huge deficit over PS4's great looking titles.

Either way, PC has more, on top of a much better looking and running version of the remaining 200+ multiplats this gen.

If in general you want gfx, you want performance, you go PC. There's no way around this fact. TGOL has to stop trolling about his 3rd place hardware system.

@zaryia: TO:1886 looked the same no matter what. Its asset quality was outstanding. If only it got a Pro update. Funny thing is it seems PS4 games win most of the technical graphical awards. First UC4, then HZD and soon to be GoW. The top tier games like the best looking game each year seems to be a PS4 exclusive and thats impressive.

If you want Moba and RTS you go to PC.. the best looking games seem to be on the PS4.

Meh, console centric technical award for console achievements. Those games were able to do a lot on that hardware. I agree. But nowhere is gfx king suggested.

The fact is (with photo citation), several PC games on ULTRA look better. PC has around 20 great looking games, PS4 has around 3. Further more, the remaining 100+ games all look and run A LOT better on PC. Those in game shots of UC4 and GoW4 put up against PC ULTRA games speak for themselves.

If you want the best looking games, you go PC. If you want the best looking version of most games on PS4, you go PC. If you want 110 more high scoring games than PS4, you go PC.

(P.S. Very almost no MS exclusives are MOBA/RTS, you make no sense.)

Those ingame shots are compressed Jpegs that look like they had been taken from a Twitch feed. The fact you posted that and acted as if it looked anywhere near actual gameplay shows me you are nothing more then a troll.

Those awards were compared specifically to PC versions of multiplats where the PS4 exclusives were found to look superior. End of Story..

They are direct feeds from users. Don't be upset that your games look like raw-asshole when not posting photo-modes.

Objective direct photographic evidence shows PC has several better looking games than PS4's potential 2. It isn't even questionable, I can spam shots to show you this. Would you like me to do so? I think if you give me any more push back, I'll obliterate you with dozens of shots from both systems best games. Purely objective comparison data.

But even if it were up for debate, we'd contend that PC has over a dozen great titles while PS4 only has around 3 in such a battle. Then we'd also contend over 90% of PS4s library looks better on PC. Considering these 2 solid facts, there is only 1 system I would recommend gamers if they overall wanted the best graphics for gaming.

Nothing you say changes the fact that several PC games look better. And even if we were to debate, you would concede to the fact PC has several more great looking games to pit against PS4s 2 or 3. And that almost all of PS4s library looks better on PC. If someone asks me for the best graphics, saying PS4 would objectively be a lie. He would have 2 great looking games, and then a huge void. On PC he would have 20, and 100 best multiplats. And higher fps.

According to DF HZD was the best looking game of 2017. The way things are shaping up GoW will easily take it this year. Good thing the people that make these decisions actually play the games as opposed to looking at Jpegs off the internet.

I've given you 3 hours to post replicas of the user direct-feed PS4PRO screenshots I've posted to prove that is not how the game looks. Your concession has been accepted since you have declined to post said shots. The fact is, those shots are not doctored. It's from a console forum thread were people post their best possible shots of a game.

P.S. You should really stick with using HDZ. GoW doesn't even top out XB1X multiplats. It's good looking, but holy cow it isn't anywhere near even the top 10 when put up against PC games running on ULTRA 4-8k.
