An Honest first review of ODST

i'll never understand why people say they halo 3 was horrible and previous halos were good, they are all pretty much exactly the same, people didnt call it halo 2.5 for no reason...G-O-M-J

and i was over at my friends house and watched it being played.........and im going to leave it at that so i dont get in trouble......all i can say the music is sooooooooooo GODLY i love it.........depressing and beautiful

No that just told me he didn't know what he was talking about and that it must had been a long time since he played any Halo game. So I stopped taking him seriously.

From the campaign footage, and the ending I've seen, it reaks of mediocrity.

It might just be me, but this game is as far of a Halo game in depth as I've ever seen. Definitely a let-down for me, no exciting chase sequence, no intense climax.

Just all very, average, hope i'm wrong though.

his opinion = null. Terrible campaign. The first level was great. And then it just plummets after that first level. My hatred of the campaign is more than halo 2 tbh.

i wish there was flood in the game i prefer to fight flood rather then covernet since flood are way easer to kill their also alot more fun to fight i feal like iam fighting zombies

And one more thing. killzone 2 had a terrible single player. Terrible. It was almost unbeatable due to the difficulty. The multiplayer however was so good. Some of the best level design, enviroment designs, I've ever seen. I think it may have the best level design in terms of multiplayer maps ever.

Having watched the single-player campaign on youtube, it seems to me that we're essentially getting multiplayer DLC except it's on a disc and has a very short campaign tacked on in an attempt to justify a high price tag. The youtube videos were only four hours in total, including cutscenes/credits and all the pointless backtracking the player did. There weren't really any 'wow' moments.

I think we know the answer to that. At that point, it would be "biased" and not "honest"

it still looks like its trying way to hard to be metroid prime to me.

Not that thats a bad thing, as metroid prime 1 is one of the best games ever made8)
