I remember someone had a quote on his sig, saying something like: "Defending a castle against all possible odds on Shogun 2. Epic. Pressing X for cutscene. Not Epic".

That sums my feeling about the game, cutscenes, voice-acting, character interaction; who gives a fvck about this sort of sh!t? They should try to make a game instead. Dark Souls for example, look like garbage, has no story, no voice acting, no ellen page and we all know it will keep us occupied and entertained far more than "Naughty GODS" game.

Never played SoTC so I can't judge, but IMO Uncharted 2 was much much much better than Uncharted 1. I'd say Uncharted 1 - 8.5/10 (for its time), Uncharted 2 - 9.5/10, Uncharted 3 - 8/10, The Last of Us - 12/10.

I've had the urge to get it for a while now, and even though I planned on getting it a long time ago, I never really got to it. I'm still eager to try it out, I'll just have to wait for whenever I actually get the game.

TLOU has very smooth combat with many animations that string together beautifully. RE5 doesn't have that, and the first gif just shows how unrealistic the combat is. RE5 is good, no doubt, but TLOU is something else entirely. I respect your opinion though.

From what I've seen so far, it's not my type of game...In fact I really don't know what it is exactly to be quite honest. All we have is the same gameplay demo played EXACTLY the same on two seperate occations. I mean, is it chapter based, Open world, is there exploration, etc? So many unanswered questions.

They also showed a bunch of cutscenes which I'm not very fond of. I feel the story shouldn't stop the game. But that's just me.

Actually I'd say the analyst is quite crafty, but that's just me :P.

Todays games, including Last of Us will look like a joke compared to what games will be like in say 2080. Game of gen at absolute best.

From what I've seen so far, it's not my type of game...In fact I really don't know what it is exactly to be quite honest. It's going to be chapter-based reminiscent to what we've seen in Uncharted, but the areas will be a lot more open. We'll see how it turns out, as you said there are many questions left unananswered, but it's doing a lot of things new and a lot of things right so I'm definitely going to keep my eye on this game. Naughty Dog worked hard on this game and it shows, can't wait to see what more they do in the coming months. The Gamescom footage should look really good.

I would love to see Naughty Dog make a comeback. They lost me with their offerings so far this gen.
