Analyst: Wii U needs to be $350 to break even, Mario needs to go multiplat etc

I would love to see Nintendo games on another platform the problem is im concerned it would be on the wrong platforms. I have 0 intrest seeing them on apple or android mobile devices as that would be nothing more then cheap cash grabs. I would however love to see them on the next Playstation or Xbox because Sony and MS will likely make more impressive hardware then Nintendo and there games could really thrive there.

Nintendo promise Mario and Zelda is only on their system and thats why it will sell. Nintendo would make their own smart phone before they make games for other systems.

Realistically Sony will go third party before Nintendo do. Quite a stubborn bunch Nintendo.

If you want impressive hardware, PC is the only way to go.

There doesn't even need to be rumours. How powerful does a system aimed at casuals need to be? Casuals don't even know what graphics are. Its not going to go all out on power if M$ want to attract casuals as well. Its just common sense.

Nowhere in the article did it say that Nintendo is doomed. Rather, they just pointed out that the gaming market Nintendo once held might be shrinking and for Nintendo to capture (or recapture) that market, they should also shift their strategy.

These analysts are useless becuase they tell us what they think Nintendo should do, not what Nintendo will do.

Everyone knows Nintendo would go bankrupt before they put Mario on someone elses platform.

Everyone knew Nintendo would not release a Wii HD in 2009/2010 because it's not something Nintendo would do, even if the numbers suggest that it's a good idea.

Furthermore, they do these controversial articles solely for hits.
