I prefer the look of TW2, but BF3 takes it.

By those screens, U3 completely destroys that, refer to my thread on 1st page. I just finished The Witcher 2 on max settings and it definitely looks better than those screens posted. Again, U3 looks better in graphics and animations.

Man, it's not just the technical graphics that are incredible but the art design too. It's bloody fantastic!

I love this game so much! After finding the Witcher1 to be so ho-hum, Witcher 2 was a surprise. I really hope it gets lots of recognition when GOTY pickings come around.

Yea, it's one of the few games that really show what modern PCs can do and mixes great graphics with great art design. Maybe some other games have the slight technical edge over it but they don't have as good art-style.

Thanks to the people who posted the max settings ones. I was wondering why it was praised so much when the original screens looked no better than Uncharted (if even as good). Though I also have to agree, Uncharted 3 has excellent animations while I've heard the ones in TW2 are subpar. That can't be seen through pictures.

Animations are good, but not Uncharted good. :P Uncharted has the best animations in a game, ever. (imo)

I agree with the TC.

The game also has amazing optimisation.I get around 30 fps with all settings on high/enabled except ubersampling and cinematic DoF while Dragon age 2 lags like **** on high settings.

PC max settings. Go to Kaffarov, and the part where there's a QTE with the soldier and your machine gun magically disappears so you have to pick up the sniper. Look at that area. :lol: Looks like Counter Strike Source. Look at the car and floor texturing. I wish I can take a screen but can't be bothered to play the whole mission (SP was mindnumbling boring)

As opposed to games like Crysis 2, Witcher 2, Shogun 2, it looks worse. Looks like COD but with eye meltingly bright lens flares. (is Night Shift the mission where you have to plant claymores and protect AlBasheer?)

Looks veeeeeeeeeeery good and a modded TW2 looks even better but it does not surpass BF3 on ultra. I bet Skyrim will look better than TW2 in a couple of months when real mods are out.silversix_
