@i_p_daily: you don't finish games you purchase?
He's right tho', Xbone and PSbore lineup in 2016 is abysmal.
fixed
You're trying too hard dude, Uncharted 4 releases in 3 weeks and R&C already outscored Quantum Flop and is a critical success.
The public has spoken Xbone and it's 2016 lineup are a flop. It's okay for you to cry now.
Don't get me wrong, I am find Ratchet & Flop to be fun. My son is actually better at it than I am. But I agree, the public has spoken and the Xbone and PSbore and their line up is an epic flop.
I don't notice those little nuances though. I am too busy playing games...loving Quantum Break on Xbox One, loving that we get Uncharted 4 on PS4 next month, and Northern Shadow on PC coming. It's a win win this to be mutlplatform. I feel bad for hermits, cows and lems that are missing out.
aaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
@kingtito: that's not true. He has a vast audience of subscribers that obviously value his opinion. His opinion means more than someone who is not known, simply by virtue of numbers. I'm not claiming it's the RIGHT opinion, but it certainly means more. That's why game publishers give him early review copies.
No it doesn't. Just because more people watch him doesn't mean his opinion means more. 1 opinion doesn't mean more than another not matter what.
His opinion is more relevant because his audience numbers. Again, I'm not saying it's the more correct opinion. But if it doesn't mean more, then why do publishers give out early review copies to popular YTbers and not me, a nobody on YT?
So you're saying bigger audience == more relevant opinion? Bigger audience == bigger audience not a more relevant opinion. His opinion means no more than anyone else that has played the game. The only difference is more people hear it. That doesn't mean it's more important or relevant.
You still haven't answered my question in bold, underlined.
@casharmy: I did agree with his The Order review (as I did most reviews on The Order that say it's just an all around poor video game), not sure what bearing that has on his review of Quantum Break (a game I haven't even really played)
Derp, when Joe reviewed The Order you hadn't played that either lol.
Swing and a miss.
OK
Strange, it looks like I beat the game the same day his review came out. Isn't that weird!
No it doesn't. Just because more people watch him doesn't mean his opinion means more. 1 opinion doesn't mean more than another not matter what.

You already know the answer and it's not because their opinions are any more valid than yours or mine. They simply have a large audience but not every Youtuber get's an early copy. I do believe someone mentioned he isn't one of them that does. 1 person's opinion isn't any more worthy than another no matter how many people listen. In the end it's still an opinion and one that could possibly be biased.
Do you really put that much stock into some youtubers opinion because people watch his videos? You do know he doesn't have more insight into video games just because he makes videos about them right?
This guy's has been giving bad reviews to almost every Xbox game after Major Nelson yelled at him at E3 2013. I could care less about this turd's opinion. Metacritic has Quantum Break at 7.7 after 93 reviews.
Can we all just take a moment to think about how incredibly disappointing a 7.7 MC score is for a game that has gotten such an astonishing, ludicrous amount of hype before launch?

I think most hype was it to be an AA game. It came up a little short but overall still a good game and not some QTE type of a game.
@kingtito: you seem to be confused.
I'm not speaking on validity or "rightness" of an opinion. But if somebody has 50 million people listen to their opinion, do you think that it is more relevant than somebody who has one person that's listening to it? Not right or wrong, RELEVANT. There's a distinction between the two that you're failing to grasp.
Throughout history we've had people with flawed opinions **** everything up, but they fucked it up because they were relevant. Are you going to sit there and tell me with a straight face (for example) that Hitler's opinion on the extermination of the Jews was not relevant?
Millions dead stand testament that it was. It was wrong, but it was nevertheless relevant to the worst possible outcome.

No I'm not confused. You seem to think that opinion validity is based on the number of people that listen. Sorry but just because someone has however many people listening doesn't mean his opinion is more valid or relevant. You seem to be the same mind set as all those people that idolize celebtities and cry when they seem them in person. I don't care how many viewers follow AJ. His opinion has no more weight than the bum on the corner provided that bum played the game he talks about.
Kanye West has more followers than Angry Joe but you going to tell me his opinion on anything is going to have more relevance than someone that has far less? Perhaps you believe he's some musical genius, as he puts it, and that Kim Kardashian is the most talented woman in the world.
Hitler=/= have anything to do with this conversation or is even remotely relevant unless you think AJ is backed by an entire nation and it's army. I really can't believe you used this analogy to try and prove a point, which it failed to do miserably. Seriously dude get a grip on reality.

This is my final post, because I'm tired of repeating myself.
You're simply not reading what I'm typing or have non-existent reading comprehension. My very first sentence to you was, "I'm not speaking on validity or "rightness" of an opinion", and you immediately reply with, "You seem to think that opinion validity is based on the number of people that listen."
What did I just say? No, I am saying that the number of people that listen to an opinion holds bearing on its relevance in comparison to others.
And you've still yet to answer my question. I already know the answer, I want to hear your reasoning. If I went to a publisher and asked for an early copy of a game so I could review it on YT (me, with a whopping 8 subscribers as opposed to AJ's millions), what do you think their reply would be? I can guarantee you it'd be, "what makes you so special?", and I can further guarantee you that the only thing that distinguishes me from those that do get it early is the disparity in the numbers. Sure, both our opinions are equal, but hell if one is not more relevant than the other.
So yes, I believe you are confused. You are taking relevant to mean 'being better than something else', when it means 'pertaining to the matter at hand; important'. When you have a ton of people listening to an opinion pertaining to the matter at hand, that directly makes it more relevant and important than if you have just one person. Relevance holds NO say on the merit of something above anything else.
This guy's has been giving bad reviews to almost every Xbox game after Major Nelson yelled at him at E3 2013. I could care less about this turd's opinion. Metacritic has Quantum Break at 7.7 after 93 reviews.

But Joe was right, MS snatched that shit out of there lickity split when the collective whole of the gaming community gave MS the finger.
also
MS: "kinect is an integral part of every xbox one game and the console can not without it."
lol
Most Halo fans don't even care about Halo 5, there is nothing I need to do to have a "gotcha" moment against that game. The reception of the game itself is a "gotcha" moment.
and lol at you bringing up Halo 5, are you still salty about that flop?

Clearly, you misunderstood my comment - it was in reference to your comments in the Angry Joe review thread on Halo 5, and you linked comments from that same The Order thread as some sort of "ah ha" mantra. Doing it again here by throwing as much crap at the wall as possible hoping any of it will stick leads to silliness, as your quote of mine in this thread and Refurbished among others showcases. You are reaching badly.

No, my point is clear.
the same group who were behind reviews, media opinion, hyping quality ratings and bashing low reviews and standing behind game personalities, journalists and critics...like AJ...are the same group now screaming, "reviews don't matter"and "AJ is a fanboy and his opinion is worthless"
lol...my post shows this much! When we see the arguments from the same clan who savagely defend Quantum Break when it is getting criticized and scoring low for many of the same reasons The Order did you can say nothing.
Where was this stand in defense of yours when the whole of the anti-sony fanboy squad was screaming 5-club? lol now reviews don't matter! ok
You are only defending the actions because you identify with the fanboys who these actions belong to so I can say you are DC'ing badly. :)
Smear campaign everywhere you look these dayzzzzz.
It's almost, almost I mind you....... criminal. :P

Moving goal posts, I see. You can levy such a point, but the idea falls flat on its face when your quotes from posters do not align with your pre-conceived narrative. Again, as my comment and refurbished's comment showcases.
Edit for your edit:
Where was this stand in defense of yours when the whole of the anti-sony fanboy squad was screaming 5-club? lol now reviews don't matter! ok
Stand of defense? Driveclub? Reviews don't matter? What? You're all over the place. Do not drive your narrative with the chewbacca defense, deflecting to this mantra is such a bore.

Not sure what you are talking about there. The game got an 8 here at Gamespot, and 84 Metacritic average, and has more people playing Halo than any previous Halo with the exception of Halo 3 (and this is on a smaller userbase). Halo 5 is the furthest thing from being a flop. In fact, most of us Halo fans are loving Halo 5.
just never understood the point of these movie games . I wouldn't even count them as games . Beyond two souls , The order and now Quantum break .
well , it's a free world , we must have all kinds of games for everyone's taste I guess .

Oh I read it and I don't agree. Just because you say something is a certain way or believe something to be true doesn't make it so. I didn't bother reading the rest because you're a broken record trying to pass your opinion off as fact. Bottom line, AJ's opinion has no more relevance to me than any of the Kardashians. Have fun thinking some youtubers opinion has more relevance simply because more people watch.

I like changes in pace. I can very well spend 12 hours on a Saturday playing Battlefield 4, then turn around on Sunday and spend 5 hours playing Heavy Rain. Just depends on the person is all.
@casharmy: what are you doing quoting me for?
I was right about the order.
My comments where mainly about the dull combat and how hyper linear and boxed in the game was.
QB's combat mechanics are vastly superior just by looking at it. Reviewers even praised the powers thing.
But i never folowed QB much and never paid attention to how linear it is, how much variety in it's encironments or it's story. How could i predict that? Hell, i also though the tv show thing was a god awful idea.
With TO1886, i just didn't expect the horrible story, ending and copy pasted Lycan fights to bring teh score all the way down.
QB and TO ended up a few points bellow what i though they where getting.
It's nice that people noticed how amazing the movement animations are for this particular product!
Quantum Break (77/100 metascore) movement animations seem super duper polished...
as long as you watch your random step so you don't die for no reason.
lmfao what the ****.
Lol why would you post a video of a guy you don't care for?
Because MS is teh badz and stolens the Toomb Raider and teh lems made him hate the xbox
Joe is an idiot, his commentary and ability to review things properly has gotten considerably worse over time.
Anyone that gives Quantum Break a bad review must be an idiot ... I'm adding his site to my blocklist.
Gamespot gave an equally, if not ever so slightly better, review score to quantum break that you and other lems think is bad therefore being eligible for your 'blocklist'.
I don't expect a reply because judging by your "that'll show him!" comment about blocking his channel for a bad review, you should have already blocked gamespot.com in outrage post reading this comment.
You will not be missed.
I gotta say that I actually agree what Joe said in this QB review. I didn't even notice there comes a time that the Xbox One version crashes, I didn't enounter any problems on my end but still though, QB was fun but not enough to do a replay for me anytime soon.
Also looking forward to Joe when he reviews Ratchet & Clank PS4 later on.
Joe is a god among reviewers. Xbox sucks, I'm getting a waifu and taping her picture from my favorite game to my PS4.
@dynamitecop: Plenty of people on here said Quantum Break looked better than Uncharted 4 and would score higher.
I do remember a nitwit attempting that but there isnt "plenty" of lems on this board for starters. Get us a verifiable list and links to this "plenty", please.

I'd say I'd miss you but I have no idea who you're supposed to be.

You just answered yourself. You don't understand the point of these types of games. Well the point is to entertain those that like them. Granted I am more entertained by other types of games, but I can easily understand my tastes aren't applicable to anyone but me.
Obviously, I didn't add Gamespot to my blocklist. I post here ... so why would I?
I'd say I'd miss you but I have no idea who you're supposed to be.
you seemed pretty bent out of shape from Joe's low review score, so much so you ended up blocking his youtube channel, how come Gamespot got a free pass? Why would you posting here affect your decision on blocking gamespot for a bad review score of quantum flop? This game makes you quite emotional it seems so it seems like a straight cut decision.
I'm not going anywhere so you won't be saying anything at all.

So Charizard is a nitwit? ;)
Not gonna slog through old posts but from my recollection mems(no surprise there), Charizard, Super600 all had QB being a better game. And if not better many had it being very close.

Well by "looked better" I thought you meant the graphics comparison not overall game. I remember char saying that and he knows when I say nitwit its all in fun. I also remember him being more hyped for QB because it was a new IP. Nothing against Uncharted (its one of my favorites) but we know what we're getting from it, great or not. First attempt from QB didn't hit great, but I have played the game where as you haven't and you emphatically said "would never" play it. It isn't all that bad imo and I hope they can build off of the first. Funny how when it came to Nier, you called it "a polarizing game" but with QB which has more positive reviews and a higher MC score and you refuse to play its all negative.
@cainetao11: I have not played the first NieR and probably never will. I watched some let's plays of it after NieR Automata was announced and didn't like it. Not much different from Quantum Break.
