Yes because comparing 3 to 4 platforms each time is very fair.. Yet the pc gets the most AAAe's and AAe's per generation so far.. In the end its a stupid argument GOTY either way, the PC, and Xbox360,wii, ps3 are solid platforms.. Yet agian the PC and the other platforms have huge hits coming out soon, such as Starcraft 2.. Maybe you should wait before you pass premature judgement, because in the end it makes you look like a fool or a fanboy.. Or both..

These systems are COMPETING against one another, they are not mutual cooperative amongst one another to compare to the pc.. And for the last time people could you stop spewing the constant crap of "Omgzzz GTA IV pwns all" or any other game etc etc.. Its based off taste, perhapes to similar games.. In the end for instance Starcraft 2 may or may not score as high, as a pc rts it has completely different standards that are looked into compared to GTAIV.. Who cares.

look at the buttons on the side, notice how is says "switch to Video games" those were the console only awards right their, if you click on it again, it says "swtich to PC games"

Um actually it makes perfect sense because for a console gamer it doesnt matter if I have to wait 5 years and buy a new console are 3 years and buy a new pc( you spend the money like you would to get a new console) the fact is all pc's are differnt they dont all play games at the same quality and what your pc might play mine may not. It is an open platform that has no multibillion dollar companys competeing for exclusives. Not to mention if a game comes out for PS3/360 then by gamespot rules both those platforms lose the right to call that an exclusive the fact of the matter is it still never comes to pc. So if we make those rules which all favor the pc its time to look at it in a more realstic since.

Well PC gaming is still big in Europe and Madden games don't sell well on our shores, because 1. Most people don't understand the rules, 2 its not played here, 3 Soccer is the game of Britain and Europe (Football, you know a game where you do actually use your feet!).

As for GTA IV I'm pretty sure it will be released on PC in time, after all Rockstar North are a British developer and as I've said PC gaming is big in Europe.

Thats nice and even to this day even a top of the line pc cant run PS2 games worth a crap as Ps2 emulators are terrible. While my PS3 plays all the games in the PS library perfect. My point is people are taking all the AA and AAA titles of the pc over the past 8 years and counting them as they are on one platform but it doesnt matter because no pc from 8 years ago will play any of those AA or AAA titles from the past 3 years. Its no differnt then a PS2 owner having to go out and buy a PS3.

There isn't necessarily a correlation between good sales and good games.

But I'm sure Vandal or Meu2k have some sales charts around somewhere. I don't keep track because sales is pretty weak ownage imo.

u have got to be kidding me, i would go out and spend $100 on any main stream PC game. The industry needs to get its act together, they would still make a profit by releasing copies for the PC. im not going to go out and spend $500 on a piece of crap thats going to be outdated 1 yr from now, when i already am doing that with my laptop. In the end the gaming insdustry is just hurting themselves by not putting these games out onto the market. btw, i have the last 3 NBA Live's, 4 Madden's, and all of the GTA games for PC, and i fullheartedly had much more fun playing each on PC than playing them on a console. If their concerns lie in ppl pirating the games, pft they are already being dled for PS3/XBox 360 as we are discusing this.darn_he_roglers
